I'm not an expert in video production, but the integration of the Neewer app with all compatible lights has certainly caught my attention. While these lights might not meet the exacting standards required by professional videographers, due to issues such as light consistency, they are an excellent choice for beginners or those just starting out on YouTube. The Neewer lights offer a solid performance that's sure to satisfy, and while I can't speak to their long-term durability just yet, the quality of materials used in both the CB100c and the RGB1 LED Tube is visibly superior. What's truly remarkable is the ability to create scenes within the app, a feature I couldn't achieve with GVM lights. As of now, I'm quite impressed. Considering the current promotions, it's hard to find anything else on the market that matches the price, quality, and stability offered by Neewer. Initially, I considered starting with Amaran lights, but their price is almost three times higher, and I doubt I'd notice any significant difference in color accuracy at my level of expertise. I plan to provide an update in the future, but my initial impressions are very positive.

I recently received the NEEWER RGB1 LED Tube Light Stick. First off, can I just say it's like having a rainbow in your hands? Seriously, this thing is a game-changer for anyone into photography or videography.

Let's start with the basics. It's portable, which is a huge plus. You can easily carry it around, and it's not bulky at all. Plus, the metal barndoor and handle make it super easy to maneuver and control.

Now, onto the fun stuff. The RGB feature is where this bad boy really shines (pun intended). You've got all the colors of the rainbow at your fingertips, literally. Whether you want to create a cool, moody atmosphere or add some vibrant pops of color, you can do it all with this light.

And the fact that you can control it either through the touch bar or an app just adds to the convenience. No more fiddling around with complicated controls. Just swipe or tap your way to the perfect lighting setup.

Oh, and did I mention it's dimmable too? Yeah, you can adjust the brightness to suit your needs, whether you're shooting in a dimly lit room or outside in broad daylight.

And let's not forget about the battery life. With a whopping 6400mAh battery, you can go for hours without having to worry about recharging. Perfect for those long shoots where you need reliable lighting.

But perhaps the best part is the CRI rating of 98+. For those who aren't familiar, that basically means it accurately reproduces colors, so your photos and videos will look true to life.

I don't lack for lighting, mostly LED now and some RGB. I have a fixed studio always at the ready with a mix of lighting, but for remote carry it's all warm/cool lights, no really portable RGB's. Now I do.

Neewers tube light will definitely have a place in the light bag. It's small and lightweight which makes for an easy add. I can dial in colors from the entire visual spectrum making it more adaptable than some of my bigger studio lights. For the size it's surprisingly bright, acceptable for video but just a little un derpowered for mush of my stills wants.

Battery life seems good, and the barn doors are wonderful for flagging the spread. There is really not much to complain about other than wishing it delivered just a little more light. But small, light, and really bright all in one package is probably an unreasonable expectation.

I do see Neewer has larger yet still portable lights in the same family that supply greater output, so I suspect I'll be ordering one of those as well to augment this one.

All-in-all this is a very good light, and a great tool to have along for remote shoots.

Wow, this light stick is amazing! to have this much super adjustable power in such a small package is such a game changer for old school photographers/videographers. While this is not going to overpower the sun or anything, this is a nice addition to the kit for studio work. I am especially looking forward to using it to light paint. the built in barn doors and and grid are super nice additions. Did I mention that this is the ultimate in adjustable? 3200-5600k, any color you can dial in on the light on on the app, AND effects? I dont really have the need for the effects, but they are fun and I can imagine my daughter borrowing it for stage effects.

handheld, attached to a stand or on a tabletop tripod, this thing has so many uses. I am quite happy with this thing, especially for what I see as a reasonable price!

The case it comes with provides great protection and makes it easy to take with you and to store. I love how programmable it is and that you have a lot of choice in the settings. This also works with an app that makes it even easier to change and apply different settings on the fly. It has a few different ways it can be mounted and used and even includes a mounting accessory with it. The light itself can be very bright or dim depending on what you need for your shot. It is easy to use and get the hang of (even though it looks quite complicated at first), making it easy to change on the spot. It does need to be plugged in to work, however, it did work on the go with a power bank that has a wall socket built in. All things considered, this is a very professional light with a lot of settings and colors to choose from that won't necessarily break the bank. I am really glad to have this as part of my studio lighting!
