I really like this stand for a few reasons, and I don't like it for a few as well. I'll start with the things I like about it.

1. The price is unbeatable. This is a legit and professional quality stand at a bargain price.
2. This thing is super sturdy and a quality build.
3. It's very tall. I can comfortable send this stand up over 10 feet sand bag the legs and not worry about it toppling.

Things I don't like:

1. I don't love the fact that it's chrome instead of powder coated black, but I do love the price so it's not much of a con.
2. It's pretty freaking heavy. I've used some other brand c-stands that are much lighter, but again... for the price it's nothing to freak out about.

Over all I give this stand 5 stars, and I highly recommend it.

The stand is really sturdy, easy to assemble and open up. Ive worked in many studios with many different branded C-stands, (Matthews, Kupo, Savage, etc) and this Neewer one holds up. It is very well made and nothing seems like it is made poorly. It isn't as refined of a design as Matthews, Kupo or Savage, since it has simpler design on the knobs and joints, but everything tightens and holds really well. Some reviews state the bag is not good, but mine seems great and is strong enough to carry everything. The nylon is strong and the stitching is also good. Maybe it's a new design or luck. All in all, I am very happy with it and it does everything I need it to.

From someone who came from super budget stands straight to this baby, there is a world of difference. Cost is not bad but the stability and build quality is great. This is one of those stands that'll probably be a forever stand. Meaning as I move from studio to studio, this will be there. And now that I've had a stand like this, there's no way in heck I can go back to the super budget stands

Great c-stand if on a budget, has a slight wobble to it but that’s not a deal breaker and with some minor alterations can be fixed (little to no skill required to do this). Overall I ended up getting a second opinion he because it’s hard to find something of this quality at this price range. Get some sand bags to go all my with this.

Because I already have the Neewer Pro and happy with it, I bought this one for backup & to mount my camera.
1/3- It's too bobbly for a camera. I contacted Neewer. A week later I got an answer and this was after sending pictures and a video (they requested). I had originally stated that I own a c-stand and knew how to use one.
2/3- After a week, their response was too put a heavier softbox on it to steady it.
*The reason it's not as steady as the more expensive Pro c-stand is not so much design but rather the mechanism design and size. This c-stand is less expensive because the base is made cheaper, the center column has less metal and all the tightening knobs are smaller (again less metal)
3/3- I did decide to keep it But Will Not Be using it for lay-flat, meaning it moves too much for the focus needed. I will be loading it with lights and hope the center column legs will last.

New stand, but the legs are so wibbly wobbly I can imagine what will happen to them after period of time, so i am not going to risk with my softbox and flashlight. Carrying bag is also really poor quality, out from the box and already had 2 holes so basically can not use the bag at all. This is not my first Neewer product but my first 1 star rating. Next time i will think twice before purchasing Neewer products again.
