You need to know that this bag may be too big for your international flights. Some international airlines, and at least one major domestic one have limits of 60 inches or so for their combined LxWxH measurements for checked baggage. The 30 inch bag in this model exceeds this by around 3 inches. (Last year I discovered this too late and had to repack all my stuff into an old decrepit case without wheels. I was quite disappointed because I really liked the bag, it was very light and roomy and the lock worked and I could take lots of stuff in it. (I suppose some checker might have let it go, but I couldn't take that chance.) Which is why I gave it 4 stars. Would have given 5 but, well, I never got to actually try it out.
