He came to give an estimate, was exactly on time, and gave us the best possible advice. We were contemplating have new LED outside light fixtures installed. His advice: our current fixtures are working perfectly and emit a bigger pool of light than the new fixtures would. He also did a cost analysis and leaving well enough alone, even though it did him out of a job, was to our advantage. We appreciated his honesty and would definitely call him again as a result

Returned my call on the same day that I left a message for them. They were able to fit the job in within 3 days. Even though it was a 4:30 pm appointment they arrived within a half hour of the appointment time. They checked out the types of replacement fixtures we needed, then went to buy the fixtures and were back within 45 minutes. The replacement fixtures they picked were exactly the appropriate style for both fixtures and they look just right. They replaced the old fixtures with the new ones smoothly and efficiently. The job was done and they left by shortly after 6 pm. They were pleasant and professional both on the phone and in person. We were pleased with the experience and will call them the next time we need electrical work done

It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment. Technician was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Troubleshooting the fixture was quick, but our wiring was old and needed some adjustment for differences in the ground wiring in the new fixture. Technician was able to identify and negotiate this. Pricing is a bit high

I contacted Cross 6/1 regarding changing my current lights with plug in LED Shop Lights purchased from Costco. They set up an appointment to view the job, arrived at the agreed time, and sent an estimate as promised. No hassles. When I changed one aspect of the estimate bid they immediately sent out an undated one. They were extremely prompt, friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. They are straightforward and honest to boot! They cleaned up their work nicely and finished the entire job in about 3 hours

Contacted Dalcon Electric to get an estimate to install a new lighting fixture over my kitchen island. Julian came out and explained what the job would entail, the cost of the job and gave me some background information about Dalcon Electric. The job included removing the canned lighting, installing the appropriate electrical fixture for the new light, repairing some ceiling drywall then installing the new fixture. The cost of the job was good and included the repair of the drywall so I didn't have to find another contractor to do that portion of the job. Julian installed the fixture and did a great job. He was very careful about my home, wearing booties when he was inside, and making sure that everything was cleaned up when the job was finished. Will definitely use them for my next electrical job and will recommend them to my friends

We brought in our kitchen floor plan and described our needs for the different kinds of lights we needed (for the ceiling, above the counter, above the kitchen nook, and accent spots). The rules for kitchen fluorescent lighting had just changed and they already understood them, unlike other lighting stores we visited. All the wattages of the fluorescent and incandescent lights had to add up to meet the rules, and the various styles of fixtures had to be visually compatible. They spent time with us and were very patient as we visited several times, looked at floor models, made changes in our plan, and finally ordered fixtures. They were always knowledgeable about the fixtures and bulbs, and were able to answer our questions about glare, bulbs, fixture quality, etc. The excellent staff has been there for many years

They not only were able to schedule our installation within a week of contacting them, they also did an outstanding job of carefully removing and replacing 11 light fixtures inside and outside of our home. One installation was a pendant over the stairs, requiring the right type of ladder to ensure safety while installing. On time, very careful, professional installation. And took the time to do a careful cleanup of all areas, including vacuuming up the bits of Styrofoam and cardboard from the new fixture packing materials. Thank you! BTW, the price was in concert with two other estimates I received, so not overpriced

The fence repair was acceptable. It required a slotted 2x4 for the top and I was surprised that the fellow couldn't find a ready-made board at a lumberyard. He said he had to route the board. The repair was good. The problem was in replacing the light fixture. In our office, we have three under-counter florescent fixtures and one of them no longer worked. He said it needed to be replaced, which I expected. However, he replaced it with a fixture four inches shorter than the original and one that had an on/off switch on it (the lights all turn on / off from a wall switch.) Now I have to find another - this time a real electrician - to put the right fixture in. The shorter fixture uncovers an un-painted area and doesn't match the other two fixtures. He left it that way. I paid the bill when it arrived in the mail and called to say I would not use them again. If they had offered to come out and remedy the situation, I would not have written this, my first ever review. I didn't expect that he would have the right replacement fixture with him, but I thought he would order one and come back days later. He didn't ask if this would be okay; we would not have approved it
