"I hired Nu Look Home Design to install a new roof and gutter system for home, porch, and garage, and to replace two porch skylights. The Sales Rep gave excellent detail of product offerings and warranties, evidence of quality workmanship and training of installers and project and installation managers. Pre-installation inspections were thorough, performed first by a knowledgeable sales rep, then by a highly experienced installation manager. Planning, scoping and costing were supported by advanced tools that assured the accurate sizing of the job and accurate ordering and delivery of the chosen products. The work was completed the work without comprise, shortages, or excess. Discounts were scaled to the size of the job. All products and service were delivered and completed on-time (installers and field managers actually arrived early each day). Setup and cleanup was immaculate—no plants, lawn, or other property damaged; all debris thoroughly removed. The quality of the work exceeded expectations, both in its execution, and in the quality of the final product. All staff were professional, cordial, fully equipped to deliver the highest quality installation efficiently. They answered questions politely and worked well as a team. "We bought our house brand new 20 years ago. It reached that point in time when the original roof was starting to wear out. Our neighbor had to have her roof inspected and her contractor expressed to her that our roof had sustained some damage from high winds. We arranged to receive an estimate from HCR. Their rep, Casey Becraft, inspected our roof and noted that light was shining through the eave into the attic. He was able to schedule our replacement before the end of November. This was a relief to us, because we were concerned about the arrival of winter weather. HCR roof replacements are superior to builder grade roof installations. They install leak barriers, aluminum drip edges (that don't rust), ridge ventilation, and cap shingles on the eaves. The 5 tab shingles they install are much better than the originally installed asphalt shingles. They also replace all rubber pipe collars. All materials were loaded onto the roof the day before work started. The whole process took approximately 8 to 9 hours. And they hauled all of the waste materials away afterward. We are very pleased with work and relieved that this issue has been resolved."

"They were not the cheapest, but they were competitive and I believe I got better value for my money. Dave Robey was my salesman and he was a very nice guy, always responded quickly to my emails and texts at pretty much anytime of day. Being an engineer, I naturally had a few detailed questions that he could not answer, so he had the boss man come by and I was very pleased with the detailed explanations. I was nervous about the whole thing, cutting this big hole in a perfectly good concrete wall and all, but they had detailed answers to my various questions and it put me mostly at ease. The work started about a week after I got approval from my homeowners association. They arrived on-time and worked to pretty late in the day. They obviously cared about what they were doing and strove to do it well. As they went about it, I got more and more comfortable with it and believing that nothing was going to get "messed up". The people working the job were all very nice guys and worked hard. I had a finished basement, so this was being cut into a wall with wallboard and such. They did the whole installation and left it with zero mess inside and outside the house. The concrete cuts were smooth and very well done. He was very careful using the mini backhoe for the excavation and pulling that wall segment out. The 4'x5' window is fantastic looking, lets in a ton of light, and definitely made the room tremendously more cheerful. It is now 4 months later and we have had zero issues. We also had a very heavy rain due to remnants of a hurricane getting to us and we had zero water issues. They had tied down into the foundation drain and it all worked great. So, I would definitely recommend these people to anyone. They know what they are doing, they use their own full time employees, they have the insurance and workman's comp, etc. And they do great work and they communicate with you as much as you want/need them to."

"Fantastic experience with JS Jackson! They did 2 projects for us - window replacement (6 windows for a townhouse) and cut and install new kitchen window. The leads on each project were very knowledgeable and great at explaining the process, answering questions, and advising on the best products for quality, budget, design, and function. Workers were friendly and professional. The office staff is very responsive at handling scheduling, permits, invoices, etc. It’s been several months and the windows are clearly properly installed, well-sealed, no leakage, and outside framing looks flawless. "The sales process with Vinyl-Lite was the most laid-back, low-pressure, and friendly out of all the companies we vetted.
