Traci Pole, M.B.A., M.S.

Assistant Regional Director, Region 8

Traci Pole has worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for 15 years, 10 of which have been in a regional capacity. Prior to joining the SAMHSA Regional team, Traci worked in the HHS - Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) and served as the Regional Program Consultant for the Title X Family Planning Grant Program. In this role, she supported six Region VIII grantees in providing individuals with comprehensive family planning and related preventative health services. Traci received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wells College and her M.B.A. and M.S. in Marketing from the University of Colorado - Denver. Her professional interests include working with youth/young adults to achieve healthy outcomes, navigating healthcare systems to increase access, especially in rural/remote communities, and overall serving to improve the public health of our rural/remote communities. In her free time, Traci loves exploring sunny Colorado with Larry (husband), Luca (4 y/o son), and Ringo (her 150lb Great Dane pup).
