The purpose of the State TA is to provide technical assistance and support to State Mental Health Authorities (SMHAs) in successful program implementation of the MHBG including evidence-based and promising practices, crisis services, and mental/behavioral health planning councils to meet the needs of children with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and adults with serious mental illness (SMI).
