Professor article[edit]

For Hans Bosse, I'm surprised that a dead social sciences researcher could be paid content. What's the evidence that it was paid?

I think we can try to clean it up if that's really the case.

He recently died, and it was pretty big news for ethnologists/anthropologists working in certain areas of social psychology. Noelicneon (talk) 23:10, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It can only be cleaned up by someone independent of the subject, otherwise it simply compunds the issue. - Bilby (talk) 23:12, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm independent of the subject, but you seem to think that whoever created it probably isn't. I don't know who created it, and I have just asked him to address these issues. How did you figure out that the article creator got paid for it? Social sciences researchers, to be frank, are generally not known for being rich people who can afford to throw money at self-promotional pages. Per WP:Beans I think it best that I don’t go into details, but I’ll pass it on to a functionary if need be. It may well be worth an SPI. - Bilby (talk) 00:49, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Stoked On Fishing[edit]

Hello Bilby,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Stoked On Fishing for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want Stoked On Fishing to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
