"Mauricio and crew did a fantastic job! I was having problems with lights flickering and power fluctuating. To remedy that, they added three dedicated circuits for the window AC units and the microwave. They also installed new conduits and replaced my security lights. Mauricio had recommended LED lights on a previous visit, and I am VERY happy with the light output and the fact that they should last for over 10 years! And, Mauricio replaced the electrical panel box. (He'd also recommended replacing it on a previous visit, saying that it was overloaded.) Instead of the jumble of wires I had before, the panel box is big and clean and the breakers are labelled. The only hitch with this job was that CenterPoint failed to show up during their promised window of time to do the temporary power disconnect. Oh, and Mauricio replaced a fan switch on the living room ceiling fan and a light switch on the bedroom ceiling fan. I am VERY happy with the quality of the work they did. In all cases, the work is not only functional, but very neat as well. And I'm pleased with their work ethic. I will be asking Mauricio for extra business cards to share with my friends and neighbors. And S.N.R. will be my "go to" for electrical work in the future, for even the smallest jobs."

Zoe was the first contractor to call me about 5 minutes after I logged the request for an Electrician to help install 7 smart switches in my home. "I called Carriere HVAC - Electric, Mike was there the very next morning and submitted a proposal to replace our 13 year old overhead lights in my office building with LED lights. He was able to start work within two days. He was professional and very courteous. Some of the light fixtures required rebuilding and this was no challenge for Mike. "I needed the trim replaced on 3 can lights on my front and back porch. Possibly the simplest home repair job in history. The only reason I could not do the repair myself was that I don't own a 23' ladder or scissor lift myself. Another large company that Home Advisor paired me up with wasted my time by insisting they "had to see the job in person to give me a free quote". Their salesman tried to convince me I had other electrical needs and in the end quoted me $1,500 just to replace the TRIM on three can lights. I was so frustrated with the attempted ludicrous upsell and offended by the assumption that I might be stupid enough to pay anyone $1,500 to replace 3 can light trims. Shane quoted me an hourly rate that was quite fair and got two men out to do my job within two days. Lucas and Paul were prompt, professional, polite and clean cut. They arrived with all the necessary tools and ladders to get the job done in one trip. And although the job was super simple, it was evident from talking with them that they know their business inside and out, as well as many other types of home repairs. Best of all, since they were there with such a tall ladder they very kindly helped me out with two other projects I had around the house that required a very tall ladder. They went above and beyond in helping me tackle my honey do list. It was so nice to find honest, down to earth, hardworking local folks that you can trust to help out with home projects. Unscrupulous contractors truly infuriate me, and sadly there a are bunch out there. I will be keeping Murphy's Electric's contact info for all future electrical needs, as well as passing it on to my friends. And I will be requesting Lucas and Paul as my technicians in the future.
