"I had a few outlet issues and miscellaneous electrical questions. Marc Thrush was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely patient. He actually listened to my concerns and addressed each one of them. He wasn't in a mad rush to move on to the next customer, which unfortunately seems to be the way many companies now think is an appropriate and acceptable method of treating their customers. I appreciated that he cared about making sure everything was taken care of. This is rare. Marc definitely exceeded my expectations. Mr. Sparky is fortunate to have such an exceptional employee."

"Great company. They gave me an estimate of costs before any work began, and even gave me multiple choices of service to decide from, without pushing the most costly. Technicians were knowledgeable and friendly, and provided exceptional customer service. I had three fan/light fixture combos installed in locations previously set up for only lights. They took care of the whole process, from up boxing the fixtures, to taking out the "trash". They asked for my input through the whole process, and were professionals throughout. "They are very dependable when it comes to showing up and being on time and the work was done right and very quickly. The only problem was in getting the permit. It took a long time to get finalized. But this is another contractor, found thru Home Advisor, that I will keep all the information on and will use again. In fact, I just did use them again last week on Friday, December 6th. When they came to meet the inspector regarding my new panel inspection, I asked them to give me a call because I wanted to get an estimate for another job. They called me back right away and sent someone out the following morning. I told them I wanted to go ahead and schedule the job. He told me they could do it that day. I wanted to do it but I said I couldn t because I had to leave by 3:30 for my granddaughters Christmas Pageant. He told me they would be done by then, that they would send a helper. I said ok if you really think you can be done in time. It was a lot of work. He was replacing 13 lights in the ceiling, changing out 11 outlets, adding an outlet and installing a surge protector in my recently installed panel. To my surprise, they finished at exactly 3:28. They will be my electrician from now on. I will tell you though, if you are looking for cheap, don t bother. They are a little pricey but the work gets done right away and it gets done right."

Not only did he fix the valve issue I threw another job at him to install my new kitchen faucet and he did not hesitate. You know by going into ANY plumbing service it is going to be costly, so prepare accordingly. What you will get for your dollar is expert service, craftsmanship and commitment to the job completion and to your level of expectation. Due to plumbing being a costly venture I highly recommend you sign up for the annual management plan $199.99 and well worth it. You get additional service, priority booking, discounts on service. As a former service member I got a 5% discount which was very generous and appreciated on the total bill. As part of the plumbing annual membership you get a flush of your water heater to remove any sediment and prolong the life of your water heater which can be very costly, take care of it now. Couple this service with your American Home Shield Home Warranty and you will never have to pay full out of pocket for major appliances. The next part of what makes Red Cap superior, they have an AC team as well, basically a 1-Stop-Shop! As part of your annual agreement you get to AC visits to do checks on your system twice. The AC rep Shaun quite possibly is one of the smartest and intellectual contractor's I have EVER come across. He explained the AC Handler, the outside unit and how to increase air flow throughout your house and help yourself breathing wise. At the end of the day here are the high level points 1. Plumbing is costly, so get someone that is there 100% - Red Cap 2. One Stop shop with Plumbing and AC, trust in your home 3. Knowledge and ability to communicate the work is critical 4. Get the home maintenance plan for 199.99! Worth it hand down!"

"After a big storm, I only had partial electricity in my house. A/C was out, my attic fan didn't work, 75% of my outlets didn't work and only half of my lights worked. I called a couple of companies but they wanted to charge an emergency fee and were all booked up for a while so they weren't even sure they could make it out to my house. One company quoted an emergency fee of $196! I called Captain Electrix and spoke to Jim. He is excellent. He said he does not charge emergency fees and doesn't charge extra for night calls either. He doesn't think it's christian to do so and I totally agree! He came out and tested the electric company meter first and found that my house was only getting 110 so he said I needed to call TECO. They came out and fixed the problem at the power lines. I also wanted to mention that I live in Tampa and he came all the way from Plant City and was at my house quickly, considering that's a pretty long ride and the traffic was bad due to all the rain on top of being in rush hour. I am VERY impressed and will definitely turn to him next time I have a problem. In fact, I flip houses and, because of my experience with him I will be putting him at the top of my list of electricians to work with when I get started flipping in the Tampa area."

Installing new wiring, plugs, switches, and electrical plates 3. Bringing wiring to code for my range, 4. "Its really nice to meet a company that uphold honesty and integrity as their values. This company did an install on my property following a major remodel in 2011 and did a great job at a competitive price. Fast forward to 2019 and I have recently had some of my roof replaced and the roofers removed all the of lightning rods! I called John and he came straight out exactly when he had promised. We own a large property and it would have been easy for him to charge me for a full replacement system but instead John explained that it was a pretty easy fix and the charged me very little to take care of my problem. John also walked the other buildings and checked all OK while he was there. Folks , This guy is old school honest and in today's world that's a rare commodity. "John Sherlock and his wife Corrine called within 1/2 hour of looking for Lightning Rod installers. He was available and was over to talk with us within one hour. He sent all his credentials and licenses and insurance coverages of his business and they came over the next morning and completed the installation extremely fast. He gave a fantastic offer, and lifetime warranty coverage and will even come over and take down system when we replace the roof and place back up at no charge! His wife even saw some plants we had not put in the garden still sitting in containers, and offered and planted them in the spaces we wanted, just to help out. Very friendly, helpful, professional, extremely knowledgeable and even suggested adding Lakeland Electrics Surge Protector protection they provide to go along with the Lightning rods.
