What people are saying about OFF

Fred BaumaCongolese Human Rights Activist & 2019 HRF Freedom Fellow

For activists, the Oslo Freedom Forum is the place to find new reasons to continue fighting for democracy, for liberty, for freedom, because you realize how many people are doing the work in their countries, and you feel really proud to be part of the community.

Diego ArriaVenezuelan Diplomat & Former Chairman of the UN Security Council

I've never met so many men and women with so much commitment to courage, to freedom, and to human rights. I share your hopes, and I am extremely grateful for having been invited to the Oslo Freedom Forum which is a magnificent way to embrace humanity.

National Review

The forum doesn’t care what flavor a dictatorship is: left-wing or right-wing, monarchical or military, ideological or cultish. The forum is anti-dictatorship, period.

POLITICO

The Oslo Freedom Forum’s goals include connecting dissidents and activists so they can both trade ideas and know that they aren’t alone in their fights.

Tabletmag

In Oslo, relationships would be built and awareness would be raised, seeding some kind of future positive change for the billions who toil under dictatorship.

Reason.com

There were no wonkish policy panels or PowerPoint slides cluttered with data and footnotes. The conference featured instead a series of TED Talk–style speeches, delivered without notes and designed to forge an emotional connection between the audience and the presenters.

Garry KasparovChairman of the Human Rights Foundation

We unite here to discuss not our differences, but our shared belief that all human beings have their right to express their humanity.
