I am a general builder based in the Rugby area.I have over 40 years experience on all types of private and commercial works, including as a site manager . For the last 25 years i have been building extensions and alterations to private households. I initially started as a plasterer,then developed my brickwork skills.I later trained as a carpenter, and specialize in cut roofs.I love the work we do , and am keen to realise customers needs and aspirations.I work on one project at a time .

About JWP Builders
JWP Builders was established in 1988. Before this I had worked for a plasterer where I gained plastering skills. I wanted to diversify . I needed brickwork skills so worked with a brickie . I found I picked the skills up easily ,and later on I moved into developing my carpentry skills in a similar way . I worked around the country on all sorts of projects and in 1998 decided to settle and develop my business locally , focusing on customer satisfaction . Since then I have spent the last 20 years building all sizes of extensions from porches to large three storey extensions.My role is to ensure the design and build of the extension happens to budget and customer needs, and I take full control over the quality of the work.
Some jobs can be done without formal plans where I design the extension after consulting with my client. However we are happy to use formal plans, as on larger projects this can be the best for both sides.
Qualifications
All my skills have been gained from working on the job with expert workers in their field. Including-
Bricklaying
Groundworks including drainage
Carpentry
Plastering
Roofing
I have gained these skills through my own effort and my desire to do the best job I can.
