Team WPGenius is looking for a passionate coder to build publicly available plugins.
What you will be doing
- Build modern and advanced WordPress solutions.
- Design websites using WordPress themes & plugins
- Develop WordPress themes & plugins
- Configure E-commerce stores using WooCommerce
- Communicate with clients
- Always do extensive research to build innovative solutions with a perfect user experience.
- Test solutions across multiple browsers and platforms in a local testing environment.
- Maintain code using version control like GIT
- Planning and issue management via Asana/Jira.
- Respect timelines and communicate progress proactively using slack.
What must-have skills we are looking for
- Skills in: PHP, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, HTML
- Basic knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of WordPress plugins and themes
- Excellent research skills & innovative approach toward solution
- Good understanding of User Experience
- Debugging knowledge for a wide range of browsers and devices
- Team-oriented behavior and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Hard worker and passionate – we are growing super FAST.
- “Roll-up your sleeves” attitude to get things done
- Good listener, communicator, and team player
What we expect good to have
- Object-oriented PHP programming.
- Knowledge of WordPress & WordPress Template Hierarchy
- Deep expertise and knowledge in UX design systems and processes
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git)
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
