    Took months to get done. My salesperson literally disappeared. I was ghosted and had to pray that the order arrived. It did eventually but not returning phone calls or emails is unacceptable. I will never use Empire again.

    I had a very positive experience with the company and the professional installers! Jose was very professional, efficient and explained everything that had to be done or was being done with great attention to detail. Jose and his team were probably the best contractors/professionals I have ever had to do business with. I hope they get the recognition they deserve.

    The crew did a beautiful job on the carpeting and new baseboards. We did find some problems after they'd left. Three of the four rooms have heavy, double mirrored closet sliding doors. After they were put back we found that one of them was badly damaged and is now inoperable. While removing and replacing these doors they gauged the ceilings (which we patched and repainted ourselves), and also damaged two ceiling fans (which we disassembled, repaired and repainted ourselves). We'd still hire them again, but we'd be much more careful in looking over the details of their work before we'd sign off on the project.

    Empire acts as an agent for sub-contractors. Empire double booked the contractors and asked the contractors to collect the payment which they didn?t know anything about. I asked the contractors not to use my personal bathroom, but they did and left a gross mess. It was overall a bad experience and now I don?t enjoy my new flooring.

      HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business.
    5. Sex Offender Search
      We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located.
    6. Bankruptcy Search
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them.
    7. Legal Search for Civil Judgments
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them.
    8. Liens Search
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them.
    9. Identity Verification (SSN)
      HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
    10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
      We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
