"A few months back i had seth, my salesman come out. Gave me a ton of information and measured things in my house to figure out how powerful of systems i need in my loose, old house. Iâ m currently renovating from the ground up and i proactively replaced my 19 year old furnace only system because i wanted higher efficiency and I just bought the house so I didnâ t want to deal with issues of an older furnace, but most importantly i wanted AC. we settled on a bryant unit and i was excited for the installation and i ended up having a possible covid exposure so i had to reschedule. Lucy kept in contact with me in the office to get a new date locked down. Yesterday, rob and thomas came out and put my new system in. Rob had to do a lot of the heavy lifting because thomas has an injury right now. They replaced all my ancient gas piping. Came to me with minor improvisations throughout the job because my old house had some obstacles for them. And rob even went up on my roof to seal the flue vent, for the now solo water heater, up a bit better. I got them food for lunch and they worked so well together. The electricians from spark electric showed up and were buzzing around too and working well together as well. All in all Iâ m pumping out heat and AC by 4:00. "I had been having trouble with my furnace, where it would fire up and then shut down several times before going into a lock-out mode. Well, as luck would have it, on New Year's Eve, when it was a high temperature of -9 degrees outside, the furnace stopped staying lit long enough to produce any heat. I called around and got some advice on what to do and then priced out some services in case those remedies did not work. One place wanted $150 just to come out and then wanted to charge me time and a half because it was New Year's. The next day I tried changing the air filter and installing a new thermostat. As a single mother with a daughter who just started college (and not knowing how much a repair might cost), I did not have the kind of money readily available for a company to come out and service the furnace. Unfortunately, those cheaper remedies did not work and I was finally facing the fact that I needed someone come out and fix the issue. We stayed warm by running electric heaters while I started trying to find someone who would be affordable. I came across Dun Rite Construction on Home Advisor, and after reading their reviews, I decided to call them. When Pat answered and I explained the situation to him, he told me that it would be $40 for him to come out (so much cheaper than what I had been quoted by other companies)! He also asked me to send him a picture of my furnace and the model number so that he could further diagnose the problem. I know nothing about furnaces and he patiently walked me through taking off the front panel to get to the sticker with the model number. Once I sent him the picture, he called me back and said that the issue was a flame sensor and that he actually had the part in stock. Ok....now it was time to talk price. When I asked him how much it was going to cost, he gave me a price that was only a fraction of what the other guys were charging for just showing up. He came the next day and installed the sensor while my daughter was at home and I was at work. On top of that, he reinstalled my old thermostat because there was nothing wrong with it, and the one that I had purchased was cheap and known for having problems. My daughter felt very comfortable with him in the house and he finished everything in less than an hour. When it was all said and done, his final price was even $20 cheaper than what he had quoted me. I had told my daughter to tip him when she paid him, but he gave her the extra money back!!! During this frigid time, when heat is a definite necessity, he could have taken advantage of the situation and my lack of knowledge. But you know what? Pat was a real stand-up and honest person and he did great work, even going above and beyond what we had discussed and not charging me for it. I will definitely be calling him the next time I have an HVAC emergency, or when I need contracting work done. My motto is "Call Pat and that's that"!!! Signed...Warm, Happy and Not Broke!!!"

"Dan was the Technician who came to fix my boiler. He was on time and was a very nice young man. He explained what needed to be done and fixed the problem. I also told him about all the banging noise going through my heating system. He informed me of what would help to alleviate more of the air in the in-floor radiant system which would have required more work. I declined to have that done for personal reasons. He did not pressure me about it."

"AAA-Anderson arrived on tiime, worked quickly and efficiently to clean out the vents to both water heaters (dead squirrel and dead bird blocking the flow of air through the vents), then came back to put a screen over the chimney so this won't happen again. While they were in my home, they took a look at the range oven which was not heating and found that the electric starter was cracked, so they put in a new one (which they had with them) and solved the problem! They are a husband and wife team who are friendly, industrious, and well-prepared to clean out chimneys and repair appliances. Best of all, their prices are reasonable."

"Cameron came out on the day I called him during a heat wave when our air was out. He was able to get it running temporarily until he received the new circuit board. He was more than fair with his price as the board was very expensive, he waived the labor and only charged us for the visit and parts.
