BEYOND is one of the employee resource groups at A+E Networks EMEA that facilitates the discovery of new technologies and trends happening in the digital world. Sparking employee’s curiosity and creativity while gaining new skills is crucial to the future growth of our company.  Led by Juan Cruz from the Creative Team, the group arranged an EMEA-wide Generative AI-driven Christmas card design competition aimed at generating some festive magic and experiencing the technology first-hand. The competition was a resounding success, with 76 unique designs created and entered for a company-wide vote. Seven of the most voted-for cards were printed and given as a prize to their creators. Congratulations to BEYOND for organising a truly engaging, accessible, innovative, and fun activity! And Happy Holidays from everyone at A+E Networks EMEA!

Following on the critically acclaimed Royal Bastards: Rise of The Tudors for Sky HISTORY, we have re-commissioned 72 Films, a Freemantle company, to make a brand-new 3x60 TV mini-series, Royal Kill List featuring Olivier Award winner Sheila Atim, BAFTA Award winner, Jared Harris, and SAG Award winner, Joseph Fiennes. Royal Kill List, a co-production between A+E Networks EMEA and pay-tv broadcaster Sky, looks back at one of the most seismic events in British royal history. Spanning two decades and played out over three continents, the series reveals how riven and bitterly divided Britain was in the mid-seventeenth century when the fate of the monarchy swung first one way, then the other.    Royal Kill List will premiere on Sky HISTORY in early 2024. https://lnkd.in/d3f4whJz #SharingStoriesThatMatter

Actor and presenter Will Mellor will return to present the series with seven new cases that will involve not only cops who have killed but also fraudsters, swindlers, sexual predators, and drug dealers.   Stuart Blues from the British Murders true crime podcast met our commissioning team, Diana Carter and Dan Korn, to learn about the ins and outs of commissioning Cops Gone Bad.   The bonus episode will launch today and it will be available from https://lnkd.in/eAUWFD7x   https://lnkd.in/eyKiEh2k   #SharingStoriesThatMatter

Over the past few months, some of our executives from across the company have been busy sharing their expertise with the industry as speakers and panel members.   Julie Mitchelmore, VP of Digital, and Matt Westrup, SVP of Technology & Operations, attended DPP’s Leaders Briefing 2023 to discuss their experience navigating metadata complexity.   Our Commissioning Editor and Head of Talent, Diana Carter, was part of the Royal Television Society’s Ethics of True Crime panel of experts examining how to protect contributors and stakeholders of true crime series throughout the entire production process.   Today, at BAM Live London, Colette Woodhouse, Director of Presentation and On-Air Operations at A+E Networks EMEA, will be speaking at noon at the “Innovate- How do new MediaTech trends become another tool in the box?” session about the best approach to adapting innovation for technology vendors and buyers.   Passion for what you do is a value at A+E Networks EMEA, and we are proud to see it embraced by our senior colleagues. #LeadingTheWay #LoveWhatYouDo
