Food producers must follow all guidelines set forth in SC’s Code of Laws in order to sell food. This law is separate from DHEC’s regulations for Retail Food Establishments. Today is #NationalDoctorsDay. DHEC recognizes and celebrates all doctors in our state. In particular, we would like to spotlight our Regional Medical Directors: Dr. Katherine Richardson (Lowcountry); Dr. Michael Crowley (Midlands); and Dr. Lisa Carlson (Upstate). DHEC Midlands is #hiring interns for summer 2024. The summer internship program runs from June 3 – July 31, 2024 and is designed to provide practical work experience and exposure to the field of public health.
