Thirty years ago, Dale Hollow Lake was celebrating 50th anniversary, along with the founding of Friends of Dale Hollow Lake. In the past 30 years, the Friends of Dale Hollow Lake has provided countless hours of service to raise funds, assist in clean-ups and events, and participate in enhancement projects in partnership with the Corps of Engineers.
Fifteen U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District employees graduated from the 2023 Supervisory Training Program in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 13. The program is designed to prepare these supervisors to succeed in their roles, to be effective leaders, and to help them build a “Community of Practice” to work together through issues.

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 11, 2023) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that the Rockland Recreation Area at Old Hickory Lake is closed until further notice due to damage sustained from the tornado on Saturday night.
Joshua Barker, senior electrician at Cheatham Hydro Power Plant, is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District Employee of the Month for September 2023.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District conducted a “Clean Marina” inspection of Rock Harbor Marine which evaluates marinas for their standards for clean water and environmental stewardship in the Cumberland River Basin.
