Around the Division

Direct hire authority has been approved for positions in Florida and Puerto Rico. Positions include: power plant technicians, mechanics, deckhands, heavy equipment operators, scientists, engineers, park rangers, acountants, contract specialists and office administrative professionals.
During the ceremony, as a tradition, Brigadier General Daniel H. Hibner, Commander, USACE South Atlantic Division, passed the covered USACE colors to Colonel Charles L. Decker, Commander TF VIPR, which represents the assumption of command, and Col. Decker passed the colors to Jacqueline J. Keiser, PG, PMP, Deputy District Engineer for Programs and Project Management (Interim), TF VIPR, USACE.
Congresswoman Jennifer Gonzalez, Commissioner Resident for Puerto Rico, introduces Brig. Gen. Daniel Hibner and the leadership that is coordinating the creation and establishment of Task Force U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico during a press conference that was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
South Atlantic Division commander Brig. Gen. Daniel Hibner signed a Commander's Memo on Feb. 27th, 2023 establishing the division as an Engineering With Nature Proving Ground.
