AV-TEST Product Review and Certification Report – May-Jun/2021
During May and June 2021 we continuously evaluated 21 home user security products using their default settings. We always used the most current publicly-available version of all products for the testing. They were allowed to update themselves at any time and query their in-the-cloud services. We focused on realistic test scenarios and challenged the products against real-world threats. Products had to demonstrate their capabilities using all components and protection layers.

![33 products in the ATP test – The list of companies, universities, colleges or facilities such as hospitals and public administrations subject to attack is growing longer and longer. Classic protection products or corporate solutions must harness all their protective techniques to fend off cyberattacks. How well they can do so in 10 real-life attack scenarios is demonstrated by the Advanced Threat Protection test. In the latest test, the protection solutions are required to defend the Windows systems against data stealers and ransomware.
