He did see a crack in the furnace unit which should be a shut off due to a hazard to life or property. We determined that replacing the furnace for the next steps we needed, and he was able to install that furnace on Sunday. he was incredibly professional. he explained all of our options and we decided on the one that would work best for us. "I spent a great deal of time with the owner on my property trying to find the most ideal cooling system for a split level, flat roof home with forced air heat. Location of the unit and capacity was particularly challenging for a mid-century home. When we were done we had the perfect cooling unit. During our conversation he saved us from certain disaster by noticing that our heat exchanger in the furnace was cracked (I had not done an inspection in quite some time). So, we purchased a new furnace and water heater at the same time. They do annual inspection on the air conditioner and furnace, and even remind us when it is time. The only problem we have had is the furnace manufacturer going out of business. Apple Aire still honors the warranty and works hard to make sure we have parts. And they come in the dead of night in the bitter winter if you need them. There is no one I would recommend more highly and no one I would rather do business with than Apple Aire."
