"If you're in the market for a contractor who is knowledgeable, talented, trustworthy and affordable (crazy right?) - Arvada Home Improvement is your company. Before COVID-19 took full force, I purchased a condo located in Aurora that needed a lot of work and hired Neil and his team to do it all. I was coordinating this whole project from out of state back home in New York; I knew I had to find a GC who could not only get the job done well, but be trustworthy enough to manage the entire project without any oversight on my end. These guys completely remodeled the kitchen and bathroom, updated plumbing, installed new tile floors throughout and painted the entire place, as well as a bunch of miscellaneous tasks that came up as expected. Everything from purchasing/picking up materials, managing deliveries to the condo, planning out what I wanted to happen, and executing the laundry list of tasks - Neil, Paul, and Brandon did an outstanding job. Anyone who knows me can vouch that my standards are high. I pay close attention to detail and am particular in how I want things done. Neil was also so helpful in making suggestions that would save me headaches and money down the road. On top of everything, his company was the most reasonably priced bid I received out of almost 10 people I called. I was curious in the beginning of how a company that was so fair priced, knowledgeable, and communicative did not have a huge internet presence. I thought there must be a catch - but there wasn't. Neil just recently founded Arvada Home Improvement, but has accumulated a vast array of knowledge from his many years of past relevant experiences. These guys get it right the first time, with minimal waste, and make sure you're satisfied with the end result. I can't recommend them enough and I know they will be my first call for projects in the future."

"My 1904 Capitol Hill house had not been updated since the 60â s and was in dire need of a remodel. Our entire job included a full kitchen and bathroom remodel, 9 rooms being completely repainted and original oak floors being refinished as well as updating a lot of electrical outlets. Found Schwalb Builders via Angieâ s List and decided to have them bid my project due to their high review ratings. I had 4 companies come to bid my project and Schwalb Builders had the most robust team, including a designer/project manager (Greg) that had incredible taste. My kitchen has an incredibly awkward layout but I was not ready for major wall tearing down construction. Greg was able to design an incredible layout right in my dining room via his computer. They brought sample cabinets, flooring and countertops right to my house as well! Also knowing that I love wine, in a corner of our kitchen Greg suggested a wine cupboard and wine fridge (SOLD!!). After our initial meeting, Sean the company owner, came out to give a formal bid. They were incredibly competitive and I just felt they understood what I wanted. From there the full project took about three months and I could not be happier with the end result! There were a few minor hiccups due to the house being so old but other than that the process was rather streamlined. All of Schwalb Buildersâ employees are incredibly professional and friendly. There was no hesitation having them in my house. Also communication was always 100%. Greg always responded promptly which helped to put me at ease about various questions I had. I would highly recommend Schwalb Builders for all of your construction/remodeling needs, its great that they have an entire in house team to meet all the demands of construction/remodeling. "This family business was exactly what I expected. They listened very carefully to what I wanted done and followed my instruction with professionalism. They painted almost every surface in the house and it was great. They sprayed the living room ceiling and when it looked a little streaking-they painted another coat by hand to level it out. They cleaned up and pulled all the tape and left the house clean. I would work with them again."

"My time with peak pro was a great experience for a pianting project. My house was badly in need of a paint job since we moved in 2 years ago. Justin and his design team were a huge help in picking colors since we had no idea where to start. They came out and brought color samples and asked me questions about our style and what we thought we were looking for in order to find the perfect colors for our house. They did great and we love the colors. When it came time to paint the prep work ended up taking longer than expected but Daniel and Miguel did not lack in hard work to do it right. By the end of the project the 3 deck, siding and trim looked so great I had them do my interior which turned out awesome! They were very clean and efficient inside not cutting corners at all. They removed all outlets and light fixtures to be sure and do a thouorough job! Very impressed with the service and quality of work for a very fair price! Of the 3 bids I received they where in the middle of the road when it came to cost. Not the cheapest or the most expensive but fair!"

"My tenant of 7 years moved out two months ago, so I hired HK Construction to install new toilet, bathroom vanity, light fixtures, faucets, and kitchen cabinets. He took before and after pictures for me, and he went above and beyond for my service requests by checking to make sure water is not leaking from all faucets in the house, fixing the chips on the wall and doors, and fixing the blinds with no extra charge! "I had a roof that had a leak and I also found that I had hail damage. I also learned that I had issues with attic ventilation, leaks from gutters in various locations and trim that had rotted. Heartland was one of the few companies that offered to not only fix the roof but also address all the other issues related to the attic and exterior of the house. They worked with the insurance to have the roof replaced. Not only did they replace the roof, they made sure it was class-4 impact resistant shingles (definitely needed in Boulder/NW Denver) they added ridge vents to address the ventilation issues, they also improved the drainage on the roof. Their crew also coordinated with the insulation people so spray foam insulation could be added to the sections of the roof that are very hard to access addressed. Their team also replaced the rotten trim as well as address gaps and holes in the siding. Overall, I was able to fix almost all the issues I had with the exterior. I've been in the attic since the work has been completed and very happy to report no leaks. And due to their help with the attic insulation, now during the hottest summer days, the whole house is noticeably cooler than it used to be so we use a lot less air-conditioning. Given the challenges of the winter weather, COVID-19 and coordination with the different companies to fix all the roof and exterior problems, Joe & Shannon and their crew did a great job!"
