"I was in need to hire an architect that can complete the plans for a screen porch I wanted to construct in my home. I reached out to at least eight places who never responded to me. I found Tom and he responded the very next day and provided me with all information necessary in order for me to start my project. Tom completed the work on a timely manner. He was patient with me as this is my first time doing this. He gave me very good ideas for my project. Tom is sincere, honest, professional and reliable. He gave me the opportunity to ask questions and he answered all of them. I would definitely use Tom again if I need to do another project in my home and I would recommend him to my family, friends and any other person that is in need."

Additions and Remodels
"They were very prompt to respond to questions or concerns I had, they gave a schedule and kept to it, if there was something that impacted that they promptly reached out to explain. I never had to track them down. The quality of work was excellent. The overall exp exceeded my expectations. Not the cheapest but definitely were everything I expected for the money I was paying! By the way, the kitchen was started at the end of February, it was demod... and I panicked. But nothing from covid 19 impacted getting the work completed on time, and they also wore protective gear."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
