"Hunter is professional yet very personable. They fixed what needed to be fixed and more. Their work is perfect (in my eyes!) and they kept me informed of what they were doing and thinking. I threw a curveball at them at the end of the first workday - hired to fix drywall and I asked if they could paint the livingroom, they took it in stride and they did an awesome job!"

"From start to finish of our renovation project, a custom pantry with mobile can rack, Marvin, owner of Master Home Repair, had done an outstanding job for us, one fit for a home improvement magazine! He provided a free evaluation and estimate initially, carefully noting our ideas and providing guidance with respect to the available space. Work began within a weekâ s time after receiving the ordered materials, and it was completed within three days. Consisting of only narrow, limited-access shelves and a vast empty space at the bottom, our small pantry closet was enlarged to accommodate an IKEA cabinet consisting of not only fully- accessible shelves but also drawers. Marvin assembled the IKEA cabinet, enlarged the space of the former pantry closet, and built-in the cabinet. Even though the manufacturerâ s instructions accompanying the cabinet materials were incomplete and at times, misleading, Marvin continued building the cabinet accurately based upon his knowledge, experience, and skills set. He also was able to provide solutions to defectively-made parts, as well as missing parts, using his ingenuity and well-stocked mobile shop. We showed Marvin a picture of a can rack adjoining a built-in kitchen cabinet. He proceeded to design and build a rolling can rack on-site. Itâ s a wonderful addition to the pantry cabinet, fitting perfectly next to the pantry cabinet in the remaining available space; the two pieces together appear as one. Marvin and his experienced assistant were very accommodating and considerate. They quietly worked together, often conferring with each other as well as with us. Also, they gathered, in an organized manner, opened boxes, screws, etc. Our hardwood floors were protected with coverings, and all parts of our home that were involved in the renovation were cleaned up completely, even to removing the discarded IKEA boxes, vacuuming behind the refrigerator (which is next to the pantry cabinet), and wiping up plaster dust from the floors and kitchen counters. We are very pleased with not only the appearance of our pantry cabinet but also the improved functionality of the pantry area. Marvin had assisted us previously with home repairs and the results were just as remarkable. We highly recommend Marvin / Master Home Repair, and we definitely will call him again for help with our future home projects."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.
We make finding a painter easy. Simple use our directory to find a painter. Here you can browse local pros, check their reviews and do your first screening without ever having to call. We’ve also prescreened all the pros for you, to give you peace of mind.
Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
