We receive the ‘what’ and are tasked with determining the ‘how.’ Our process begins with the research phase (Discovery), leading to the creation of a comprehensive flow that resolves user pain points across different areas of the product, ultimately enhancing the overall experience. With 13 years in the design field, my journey started in a digital advertising agency where I led the design department, overseeing the shift from graphic and art design to product design. Even then, it felt natural to prioritize the end user in my designs. Professional and personal development is a core aspect of what I cherish about my work environment. I ensure that I am always in a position to contribute my maximum and influence both the professional and social aspects in key areas of product and business.” In general, Sarit actively engages in intriguing product challenges: “I often find opportunities to step out of my comfort zone at Elementor. Supported by a network of good friends with whom I share a strong connection, we initiate small projects, aspiring to go beyond routine work, and some of these projects make it to production. While these initiatives may seem effortless, they embody the magic of enhancing the user experience. The more significant the project, the more challenging it becomes, typically involving improvements within an existing product used by millions of users. For instance, adding the Top Bar to Elementor’s core product—a product design team initiative that demanded careful consideration of trade-offs and the optimal way to introduce the change, along with convincing everyone why it was a worthwhile investment. Another notable experience was participating in Elementor’s AI hackathon earlier this year. It allowed me to form a dedicated team, fostering a proactive and engaged approach. Despite skepticism around our hackathon idea, we persevered, working tirelessly to overcome challenges and present a live demo, ultimately winning first place. The results of our efforts in the hackathon a few months ago, are now part of the latest version of Elementor. This showcased not only the speed of implementation but also the adaptability of management to make necessary adjustments and bring innovative ideas to life.
