He rebuilt our chimney, made beautiful brick planter boxes and a gorgeous brick stair case, created a stunning arch way and gate installation, mortar set two beautiful brick pathways (in running bond) built a tiled water proof deck and tuck pointed our entire home! Howard also did some very clever irrigation work and as a result our basement has been dry as a bone ever since! My next-door neighbor (a structural engineer) was so impressed by our home that he just had Howard tuck point his home and was also very happy with the result. "The team at Pure Home Remodeling did a fantastic job. We have completed two renovations with Pure Home Remodeling and the second one was just recently. They converted our existing master suite to an additional bedroom with walk-in closets, painted the hallway with addition of crown molding and remodeled the patio. In the patio, they did all the hard-scape (fire pit/table and BBQ area). The paperwork from the estimate all the way to the finish of the work, was organized in details and they finished the entire work with a minor delay. Most of the delays happened because there were several issues with the materials that we purchased and they were not in stock. Most project issues that were raised during the work, were handled professionally by our project manager, his team and subcontractors which helped tremendously in solving them quickly and efficiently. We can't be happier with this entire experience with them and mainly with the way this remodeling came out, because we know personally about bad cases where work was not done professionally OR they were abandon in the middle. We are very thankful that our remodeling project went like that."

"I found Brian thru this site (HomeAdvisor). Brian was very professional and punctual. Took his time explaining his vision of what he thinks would be best for the project (since I had no solid idea of what I want). I hired him because I could see that he's very good and knowledgeable, and he takes pride on what he does and is passionate about it. He made sure that the customer is involve throughout the entire project. I physically selected the plants and he hand picked them to ensure they are healthy/not infested and/or will work for what we're trying to achieve. He cares about the overall and long term result of the project, therefore he make sure he educate his customer about what will work and what will not work. I like that he offers alternative recommendation or suggestion on items that the customer wants but technically won't work or is not a good idea (rather than just saying sure knowing that it will not work overtime). Overall I am very satisfied with his work, his crew, and overall outcome of this project. He went above and beyond making sure that the yard looks great, all plants trimmed, and cleaned the area after their work was completed. Will definitely hire him again for other related project and have recommended him already to my friends and family."

"We bought a house built in 1930; it is partially brick-clad and has two brick chimneys. Our remodel contractor referred us to a mason who, because of other commitments, could only do one aspect of our job, and on completion, referred us to Powers. This was one of the most fortunate referrals we used. Working with Powers starts with a call to the office and from the get-go, that connection is outstanding. Connie was my go-to office person and she is organized, excellent at communicating (notifies you of when and who to expect re estimates and work), follows through with concerns, and handles billings efficiently and transparently. Absolutely A+. Then, there is the actual work: set-up to clean-up is totally professional, and again, transparent. Variety, quality and cost of materials is discussed; questions are answered; work is careful, thorough and efficient. Masonry work needed is assessed and described on a priority basis. If your masonry needs sealing, it is only done after the correct amount of drying time is achieved -- careful scheduling and rescheduling is arranged around the weather and curing of mortar. If you want to re-use bricks, they are chosen deliberately for quality, size, type, and appearance, and they are integrated and set appropriately. Our job involved several independent aspects: chimney inspections, removing and bricking in of a window, sealing, rowlock and wall tuck-pointing, then, new construction with recycled bricks that needed to be matched to existing brickwork. There were multiple visits over a period of time, but continuity was assured through Ekraam, who continued as the lead on all the work done for our job. Another A+. Absolutely everything about this company speaks to ensuring excellent work at a competitive cost. We recommend them highly and are so pleased we were referred to them by another masonry company of established excellent repute."
