The Kaspersky Security Analyst Summit (SAS) is a prominent event that attracts high-caliber anti-malware researchers, global law enforcement agencies, CERTs and senior executives from financial services, technology, healthcare, academia and government agencies in order to shed light on cutting-edge cybersecurity researches and modern problems in the industry.

 

#TheSAS2023 will happen on Phuket, Thailand (October 25-28, 2023) after a temporary break due to the online-events era and SAS@Home editions.

Costin Raiu is a cyber-security industry veteran who focused his career on understanding APTs and high-level malware attacks.

He was most recently head of Kaspersky GReAT, the team that researched the inner workings of Stuxnet, Flame, Duqu, Carbanak, Lazarus, Moonlight Maze and the Equation Group.

He is a member of the Virus Bulletin Technical Advisory Board and a member of the Computer AntiVirus Researchers' Organization (CARO).

Costin holds a red belt in Taekwondo and enjoys playing chess, taking photos and reading science fiction literature.

Dr. Boldizsár Bencsáth is a member of the Laboratory of Cryptography and Systems Security (CrySyS) Lab at Budapest University and the CEO of Ukatemi Technologies.

Dr. Boldizsár Bencsáth is a member of the Laboratory of Cryptography and Systems Security (CrySyS) Lab at Budapest University and the CEO of Ukatemi Technologies. His research interests include network security, DoS attacks, spam, malware, botnets and cyber-physical system security. Boldizsár led the team in CrySyS lab that investigated the Duqu malware and later worked on a number of other well known APT attacks. He currently works on current questions of malware-based attacks and cyber-physical system security (vehicles, factories and nuclear power plants). Among other things, Boldizsár works in multiple start-up companies and participates in a number of consulting projects in the field of ethical hacking, security design and forensics.

Kate is the global communicator and PR professional, and she currently serves as a Deputy Global PR Director at Kaspersky.

She joined the company in 2017 and was working with communications of threat research and security intelligence. Before Kaspersky, she implemented and managed international comms projects in state and non-governmental organisations, including on topics of international relations, energy, climate change issues and sustainable development. Kate is a graduate of School of World Politics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. She is also an alumnus of the Global Shapers Community (WEF initiative).
