A robust set of clinical courses helps students move beyond the classroom into the world of practice; the Lawyering Program focuses on teaching the real-life skills employed by practicing attorneys, and externships around the country and across the globe put classroom learning into practice.

Today, in honor of #Pride Month, we celebrate Shannon Minter, a 1993 graduate of #CornellLaw School, who is a leading civil rights attorney and the legal director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights.

In 2008, Minter received Cornell Law’s Exemplary Public Service Award for his work, which includes serving as lead counsel in dozens of groundbreaking legal victories for the LGBT community, including a landmark California marriage equality case. �?��?�?🌈
