In my quest to find some good compound German words, came across what might be my favourite: Faultier = Sloth Faul = Lazy Tier = Animal Brilliant.

Ok, still looking for words here… Have found Zaunkönig, Seehund and Maulwurf which all work brilliantly, if that inspires any of you German speaking language experts.

Hey German friends - what are a few more German words that turn out completely different once you split them up. Like: Hochzeit = Wedding. Hoch Zeit = High Time. Glühbirne = Light bulb Glüh Birne = Glow Pear (and yes, already got the one we all know, Handschuhe)

Omg, Giro d'Italia and Eurovision on at the same time? I'm basically going to live on my couch next week. Hell yeah.

Sometimes focusing on drawing things perfectly stops me from draw anything. Today will not be one of those days. Enjoy this unpolished mess.

My self mantra: If ya gonna smoke a cigarette, smoke it like Tallulah would have.

Tallulah Bankhead (1902–68) claimed to have had over 5,000 lovers. At a society wedding, while the bride and groom were walking down the aisle, Tallulah remarked loudly: ‘I’ve had both of them, dahling, and neither of them is any good.’
A black and white photograph of Tallulah Bankhead. She is smoking a cigarette and is staring, nay smouldering, slightly off to the right of the camera. Talulah is a white, very pale, slim woman & is had one of those ageless faces. She could be 25 or 42 here, it’s hard to say. The shot is only of her head, upper torso, and the right hand holding a cigarette up. She’s wearing a very sparkly diamond bracelet. She has dark, bobbed hair. Deep set eyes & has nailed the “Smokey eye” look. Her eyebrows are plucked thinly and arched in 1920s style. The most immediate thing about this image is how little of a fuck Miss Bankhead gives that you, or anyone else, is looking at her. She is the epitome of glamorous indifference and is utterly fabulous, daaaaaarling.

Anyone else watching Bobby Fingers on YouTube? One of the best channels I’ve seen in a long time. He creates these insanely good dioramas of bizarre moments in pop culture. Then buries them to be found by viewers. Funny, fascinating, relaxing. 10/10.

So here’s a Guy-in-his-late-30’s thing I just realised. Been a few years now since my barber busted out these guys and I gotta strong feeling they’re not coming back…

It still cracks me up that he somehow took this place from “People want the useful blue ticks” to “Absolutely nobody wants the embarrassment of having a blue tick” in like, less than half a year.

How good is this?! Someone made a little mini living fence around the street side garden bed and it’s growing leaves and everything. Love this.

The great thing about being a lowly 500 Elo level in Chess is that you basically win games by abandonment as soon as you take their Queen. I don’t even bother looking for checkmate at this point.

In other news, did they get rid of the profile birthday balloons here as well?! WTF, is nothing sacred? Jeez.

The best engagement stories are the ones where both of them were planning on proposing to the other at the same time, and weirdly it’s always the most disorganised one that somehow always wins that little competition neither of them realised they were in.

So, the new feature on the site we’re not allowed to mention is quite good and you should come and find me there if you haven’t already! Link in bio.

Should have never named my beer gut. Now that it’s getting warmer and I’m moving around a bit more I’m really starting to miss Burt.

The is a god-like level of procrastination I strive for.

Okay, so I didn't get any *actual* work done today, but I did start a cult which already has over 500 members, so if that's not being productive, I don't know what is. twitter.com/TheLargestCult…

I rode on them for 10 minutes today and that was enough to both almost kill me and also convince me to put on some warm clothes and get outside for a normal ride. Very effective in that regard.
