Today our CEO, Ross Adams and CFO, Emily Villatte, CPA shared our quarterly results for Q2 2023 with the world, and it’s great to see Acast on an upwards trajectory when it comes to our global revenue growth – exceeding 20% for the quarter – with positive steps towards profitability too. Here’s a snapshot: - 📈 Our net sales grew 22% this quarter compared to Q2 ‘22, with an organic growth of 15%. It’s great to see our global revenue growth exceeding 20% year on year, despite a continued, unpredictable ad market. - 👊 Our gross margin remained stable at 36%. - 💸 And our EBITDA margin also improved – at -11% for the quarter, an improvement of 20 percentage points since Q2 ‘22 demonstrating that things are going in the right direction when it comes to profitability, but that we still need to stay focused and efficient. - 🙌 Our operating losses also more than halved in comparison with Q2 ‘22. - 🎙️ Our platform hosts more than 100,000 registered podcasts globally and we work with 2,300 advertisers, as we continue to focus our efforts on maximizing our existing inventory. - 🎧 Our listens were 1.3 billion for the quarter.
