    Secretary of Army selects Far East District civilian as EEO Professional of the Year

    Stephen Brown, Far East District (FED) Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Manager was selected as the 2022 Secretary of the Army EEO Professional of the Year for his significant contributions to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) EEO and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility program and initiatives within the region.     FED intern spotlight: Lauren Wougk

    Lauren Wougk began her career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as a student employee with the Transatlantic Middle East District (TAM) in the summer of 2019. Wougk was later hired as a Department of Army (DA) intern in October 2021, when she acquired her master’s degree in civil engineering at Rutgers University.
