"Highest integrity and attention to detail. This is a quality, professional painting company with all the skills and equipment to do the job right. They donâ t cut corners, and when my white-to-navy blue cabinets needed an extra step because of the drastic hue difference, they came back promptly and did it for free. It looks fantastic 18 months later, and I use my kitchen hard, all day long. I also had smooth plaster applied to ugly textured walls which is virtually imperceptible, and the entire 900 sf painted including the ceilings: no overspray, they covered the ceiling fans, windows and hardware properly, Fair prices and polite, experienced workers. I wouldnâ t dream of hiring another painter in Houston."

"Joe and Jose and the support crew were amazing! They came out the day I called and perused the situation with my attic insulation in depth and explained it to me clearly. They came out the next day on time and proceeded to do the install. They were very helpful as they explained what they were doing. Insulation batting was put on the walls with radiant barrier sheeting, everything was sealed, and super substantial blown in isolation was added on all the flooring. They went above and beyond to complete the project with some extras added for free! The clean-up was accomplished so you would never know they were there. The attic looks great and my upstairs is COOL! So are they! God Bless them!"

"Awesome work. I missed a step in my attic and stepped through the ceiling in my new house. Bryce was quick to respond and was able to schedule work the following day. Henry did an amazing job on my ceiling repair. I was skeptic when Bryce told me they would make the damage disappear, but now now you would never know it ever happened. Henry was friendly and very thorough. I am beyond impressed with the quality of work he did and I look forward to using them again (hopefully never going to send my foot through the ceiling again though). The price was a bit higher than other quotes but the quality of work and speed of service made it very easy to justify. Great company and even better service/quality."

"Doug was our main person. After being totally freaked out by another company (Critter Control- DON'T USE THEM!!!), Doug was awesome. He was helpful, honest, worked with us on SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED PRICING, and kept his word. The follow up was great. Mike was the other person to be recognized, as he worked to patch our roof and seal our attic. They were so friendly and respectful. We would like to recognize this company, and would recommend them without any reservations. They even matched another quote to help reduce a portion of the work that they were doing for us!!!"

"A preliminary estimate was made and a follow up on site to confirm the requirement of material. The estimate was free and accurate. Once a formal estimate was sent to me I was asked if I wanted to continue the process. Once I accepted the bid, they were able to order materials and schedule the work. The work was performed carefully and professionally (covering boxes and equipment I had stored in the attic). The work was completed in less than a full day (we had rain showers that helped keep the attic from being too hot to perform the work). The attic has a gable fan set to energize at 112 degrees F. and would start before noon and run until 11:00pm before the roof decking was insulated. It’s been two weeks since the job was completed and the attic fan hasn’t had to run at all. My central unit runs about three to four cycles per hour. My energy usage has dropped from running between an average home to efficient home to a totally energy efficient home and I run a pool pump from 11:00 at night to 6:00am. There were rooms with “warm spots”, depending on their relationship to the height of the ceiling to relative proximity to the roof. Now there are no warm spots and the house remains well balanced in temperature. I fully recommend this business."

Frequently Asked Questions
What is insulation?

What is insulation?
Insulation is material that provides a barrier within a home’s walls, ceilings, and floors to regulate temperature and noise. If your home gets overly hot in the summer and cold in the winter, it’s likely not insulated properly.
Insulation efficiency is measured by R-value, which determines how resistant different types of insulation are to heat flow (or energy loss). R-values are measured by inch of thickness. The higher the R-value, the better the performance and the higher the price.
How much does insulation cost?
+
How much does insulation cost?
Our project data lists insulation costs between $1,400 and $6,300, but your final price will depend on the type of insulation you choose, its R-value, and how much you need.
- Fiberglass insulation: $0.30 – $1.50
- Blown-in insulation: $1 – $2
- Spray foam insulation: $0.50 – $2
- Radiant insulation: $0.20 – $1
- Rigid board insulation: $0.25 – $1
Luckily, insulation is one of the best investments you can make in your home—it has an ROI of at least 100%, meaning you’ll likely make back what you spend in a few years or so.
What is insulation made of?
+
What is insulation made of?
Insulation is made of many different materials, which can also impact the R-value needed for energy efficiency.
- Fiberglass: The most common insulation material made from glass. Fiberglass is a skin and lung irritant, so you’ll need to wear gloves and clothing when working with fiberglass insulation.
- Cellulose: Made from recycled paper products, plus borate for fire and insect resistance.
- Foam: Made from polystyrene, polyisocyanurate, or polyurethane plastic. You can also install cement-based foam insulation using rigid foam boards.
- Mineral wool: Made of fire-resistant rock wool, a mix of natural materials, or slag wool, made from a molten metal product.
- Natural fibers: Made from various recycled natural materials, including cotton, sheep’s wool, and straw.
Where is insulation in a house?
+
Where is insulation in a house?
If your attic is unfinished or you’ve ever demolished an interior wall, you might notice batt or spray foam insulation between the studs. Putting insulation between your walls and floors helps keep your home comfortable and your energy costs down. In addition to walls and attics, you can install insulation in your garage, in floors above vented crawl spaces, and basements.
- Garage Insulation: $0.50 to $1.25 per square foot
- Floor and crawl space insulation: $1 to $5 per square foot
- Basement insulation: $1.50 to $2.50 per square foot
- Wall insulation: $1 to $4 per square foot
- Attic insulation: $1,500 to $6,000
- Roof insulation: $1,500 to $4,500 or more
What are the different types of insulation?
+
What are the different types of insulation?
There are a few types of home insulation, and they all are made of different materials— most commonly, fiberglass, cellulose, and foam. Insulation includes these materials in the following forms:
- Loose-fill: Also called “blown-in,” loose-fill is sprayed into wall cavities, attics, and other oddly-shaped areas using special equipment. This insulation is usually made of fiberglass, cellulose, or mineral wool.
- Batts: An affordable insulation blanket best for unfinished spaces, such as between framing, studs, or joists. They come in pre-cut sections suitable for DIY installation and are mostly made from fiberglass, though other versions are also available.
- Rolls: Similar to batt insulation, but comes in rolls. Its make-up leaves less chance for gaps between sections and is more efficient than other types.
- Foam board: One of the most popular insulation types that can be used almost anywhere in your home. Foam boards also have a high R-value.
- Spray foam: Expands and hardens to fill gaps, small and large. Can be closed-cell or open-cell, but closed-cell has a higher R-value, making it more expensive per square foot.
- Radiant barriers: Does not reduce heat flow but directs heat away from the home instead. Radiant barriers are DIY-friendly and affordable, but they won’t be as effective in the winter months.
