We were impressed with Monk's from the beginning to the end of the project. Denise Klein was so helpful with design and selection of materials. Bill Buckner, our project manager, made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were kept up to date with the whole process. Ron Beitas handled the labor and installation. We were so blown away by the quality and craftsmanship shown by Ron and his crew. At the end of each day the work areas were cleaned and the crew was very respectful of our space.   I have used Monks for many projects at my home over the years including exterior painting, basement renovations and water damage repairs. Most recently, Monks completed renovations on two bathrooms, including a full renovation of our master bath. The finished project is better than I could have imagined and the finishes are upscale and beautiful. Nelson Santiago and the entire team at Monks is always very professional, precise and efficient.   We recently used Monk’s for a guest bathroom gut and re-do. We decided to go with them, as our neighbors used them for a master bathroom and were quite happy. We called them and they were immediately responsive, making an appointment to come over for an initial walk-through. From there they provided an extremely thorough and detailed estimate. Based on that, along with our neighbor’s review, we decided to use them. Well, we could not have been happier. Their communication was excellent and clear. Everything was documented. The amount of information provided to us was incredible. There was nothing left to the imagination. It was all extremely comprehensive and transparent. Any questions we had were answered immediately and clarified. There was also no problem if we wanted to buy some of the materials/fixtures ourselves (which we did). Zero pressure to buy through them, although anything bought through them they would guarantee. They were extremely prompt, always arriving exactly when they said they would. They were courteous and kind. No question of ours was too trivial, too dumb, too naïve. Everything was treated with respect. Issues identified along the way were IMMEDIATELY corrected without question. This was truly a partnership, and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We were consulted throughout the project for anything they were unsure of or for anything needing further discussion. We left them alone in our house without reservation and felt at ease in doing so. They covered floors and cleaned up every night after themselves. The project manager, Chris, was our go-to guy throughout the project. He approached our questions and concerns calmly and ensured our issues were immediately resolved. He knows his stuff and shared his knowledge freely. He took an active approach and checked in frequently with us. Our crew was headed up by a gentleman named Ivan, who could not have been more respectful, helpful and willing. He and his team’s work was meticulous and any issues that arose (yes, issues will always come up in large projects, so don’t freak out!) were dealt with and corrected immediately with no questions asked. We felt all the way through the process that they had a vested interest in the success of our new bathroom! All in all we could not be happier with our beautiful new bathroom and we look forward to using Monk’s in the futureshow more

  We just had Monk's complete a kitchen renovation and we are thrilled with the final result! We had a wall knocked down, cabinets repainted, floors redone, and full paint job in the kitchen and dining room. The price was reasonable and the service was outstanding.   The whole process was easy, from selecting the materials, scheduling the work, and having the work done and completed within the estimated time and at a reasonable cost. Matthew Ayers and his crew did a fabulous job. The crew showed up every day at 8am, and worked quietly, diligently, and efficiently. Communication with Matthew and the foreman was easy throughout. The tiles are laid perfectly; the paint job is meticulous. The powder room looks fantastic.   We just had our upstairs bathroom gutted and redone through Monk’s. The whole process was great, from the design service with Zoriana Pogorilets to the final punch list. Nelson Santiago and his crew were amazing. We never had a day without someone working the entire time of the renovation. At times there were as many as 3 people working in that tiny space, working to get it done on time. We always knew what was going and who was in the house. They took great care to protect the areas of our house not under construction, keeping the disruption to the smallest area possible. My wife continued to work from home through the entire process.   If you are a perfectionist and demand the best in yourself and others, you need look no further than this incredible company. From start to finish, there is no detail left unattended. My project was far from the easiest because I did not want to replace my cabinets. Several people on the Monk's team said that I would have been crazy to do so. There were other limitations within which whoever undertook the job would have to work as well. Most contractors will not touch a project unless they can gut the entire space and start from scratch. From the beginning, Monk's was willing to treat me as a contributing member of the team. I am a very hands on person and always love learning from each trade that contributes to the final project. From Maria who does the initial interview and measuring to Greg, who comes up with numbers to the penny to sell the job, to Garrett, my project manager to the counter templaters, installers, Monk designers, and consultants, there is nothing and no one I would have changed. My kitchen has been given new life, and I am ecstatic every time I look at the resultsshow more

From the initial consultation with Maria, to the showroom visit/materials purchase with Casey, all the way through to the actual work in the house with Joey and Dave.
