We were so impressed with her knowledge of the roofing business, and she immediately went up on our roof herself inspecting it for hale damage and looking at the places where it was leaking. "I had such a positive experience with Pegasus Builders that I had to tell someone other than my friends snd family. The Owner of Pegasus Builders, David Forkey met with my husband and I about 6 weeks ago. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable to put it mildly. I and my husband are both teachers and were astounded at the level of knowledge he possessed in roofing, building codes, engineering, FEMA, flood insurance and on and on. The guy is literally a walking encyclopedia when it comes to construction/ engineering and government red tape. He would arrive at our job site and do engineering calculations of some sort on the walls for his project managers. He reassured us from the first day that he would be able to permit and reroof our house, including all new plywood and truss repair in a week. I can also say that his project managers to a lesser degree reflect his management style and knowledge base. Which is a credit to them because It would take a lot to match Dave's knowledge, personality, compassion and attention to detail when it comes to engineering documents. It seemed to good to be true but he actually did exactly what he said he was going to do and did it when he said he was going to do it. I was afraid to refer him to anyone until he was 100% done because no other contractor even came close his time frame and his price was great and his quality of work even better. Dave helped us with our insurance and got it done professionally and promptly. I told my husband that this must be divine intervention How were we so lucky? Then right on cue the very next day, Dave brought another prospective client over to our project who could not believe what he was saying to her. I remember meeting this woman out in my front yard. Her first words to me were. Is this guy for real, if he is l, it must be divine intervention. The woman is a doctor. True story no BS. I don't know how else to explain it. All of my freinds and family were told 4-6 weeks out before we could even get a permit. Pegasus got the permit in two days. They had materials ready to go in a day from their own warehouse. They have their own truss manufacturing plant in Ft. Myers, their own dump trailers, their own crews, their own equipment. It's truly unbelievable. I have since referred him to all of my friends and family and the story remains the same. All I can say is, "if you can sign him then do it, you wont regret it""
