"I really cannot say enough good things about Kris Painting! I had them paint my new home top to bottom, ceilings, walls, trim, closets, prior to moving in. The timeline was tight and everything was completed beautifully and on time. I have never had people comment on what a beautiful job a painting company has done, and it happened in this house. Kris answered all my questions, gave great advice, and was very responsive. The attention to detail was very impressive. And to have completed everything in just a few days was wonderful! I also had them remove an existing backsplash and replace it, and it looks fantastic! That was also done at the same time as the painting. I moved into a beautiful new place thanks to them. And the price was very competitive. I highly recommend them. In fact, I am having them paint the exterior as well."

Painters usually price a job by the square feet of the project. Sometimes they’ll include flat fees for fixed expenses, like overhead and permits.

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.

Get Matched With ProsMetal roofs typically need a solid coat of paint to seal the material and prevent corrosion and damage. And while that paint can withstand normal weather conditions, things like hail, sleet, and branches can scrape through the protective coating and expose the metal underneath to damage. It's best to fix these as soon as possible because chips and scratches can expand over time. Whether your new roof needs a coat, your existing paint is starting to wear, or you simply want to change the color, it's best to call a local metal roof painter to ensure products are applied properly.
Professionals know how to prepare your roof's surface for a new coat of paint. They can powerwash the surface, apply the correct surface primer, ensure the new paint covers the whole roof, and apply sealant. Local metal roof painting companies can recommend the best protective paint for your climate and may even be able to recommend products like Elastomeric that can help you save on energy costs. Many local companies can also handle maintenance and repair of a painted roof, inspecting periodically for problems like bald spots and rought patches.
The best way to make a metal roof last is to repaint the surface regularly. Type in your zip code and HomeAdvisor will find metal roof painting services in your area.
