I was interested in getting a complete estimate on what needed to be done on the exterior of my 2 story duplex brick home. He was straight forward, clear and thorough about what needed to be done. I received a detailed proposal within a week. Each section of work was described and an estimated amount offered for each. He and his workmen arrived on the day and time scheduled to begin and were on time each day, worked diligently all day, were polite, answered my questions. They put down plastic around the house to minimize damage to my driveway, sidewalk, and patio areas. Chris kept me updated on their progress and completed the work on time. The final amount was in the middle of Chris' original estimate. I strongly recommend this company

We were impressed by their punctuality, attention to detail, and overall work ethic. It was obvious that each man took pride in his work and this was reflected in the final result. There were at least two men working each day and up to six on the days when the back porch was being rebuilt. Even our neighbors commented on how conscientious and considerate his crew was to them as well. At the end of the job everything was cleaned up beautifully and all trash, etc. removed. - SWEET SUCCESS CONTRACTORSPart of the second floor ceiling, including a light fixture, fell down due to water damage from the third floor bathroom (which we fixed separately). Sweet Success removed the remaining damaged plaster, patched the ceiling, reinstalled the light fixture, repaired some unrelated cracks in the wall plaster, and repainted everything to match the original paint (and retextured the ceiling). Because our house is pre-1970, they used precautions appropriate to asbestos and/or lead. We had to wait for a spot on their rainy-day list, since they are typically booked solid, but it turned out only to be a wait of about a week. The workers arrived punctually every morning, were respectful of my requests for text communication rather than phone calls (we had an infant at the time), and finished the work in about three days. The patches blend perfectly and the work looks great. They left behind the extra paint for us. The work was completed well within the projected range. We will definitely be hiring them again

I needed someone trustworthy to perform the job properly and Chris gave me the confidence that his team could handle it. As the crew began to remove the the cracking stucco, the Sweet Success team ran into a few concerns, including a power line that was close to the repair area. Chris called me back to site and carefully explained all of my options. He then gave me time to consider how I wanted to proceed with the job. Once the electric company covered the power line with a protective cover, Sweet Success was able to continue with the job. The entire thing was completed in 5 days (including the initial demolition day) and all went according to plan. Although Chris warned me that the new paint color would not match the original wall color exactly, I was pleasantly surprised with the final results. I was also pleased to see that team cleaned up the site very well when finished. Sweet Success was extremely timely and professional throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality work

The only complaint is that they could have done a better job keeping things clean where they worked and when they went into and out of my house. That is probably be our only complaint. "<p>Carl was referred to us by a friend. We contacted him via phone and he stopped by and gave us a bid on the job within 2 days. He is a very outgoing and pleasant young man. He took measurements then emailed us a detailed bid on the job including a time frame of when all work would be completed. His bid included labor only. He gave us a list of what we needed to purchase at Sherwin Williams, which was purchased at his cost. He offered us what we felt was a fair price for his services. He arrived as scheduled and completed the entire job in the time frame we had agreed upon. He was extremely neat and careful by covering existing furniture and carpeting in the room. When he was finished for the day, he cleaned up after himself. He kept us informed of his progress during the entire job, making suggestions, and asking approval before making any changes. He provided us with great communication during the job. When I contacted him via text or email, he quickly responded. </p>
<p>We were at first very hesitant to paint the brick fireplace, but Carl assured us it could be done. He primed the brick and sprayed it a neutral color which really brightened up the room. He also repaired and painted the trim around the fireplace, We were very pleased with the result. Friends and family can't believe the difference in the room. What once was a room we very seldom used, has become a room we thoroughly enjoy using.</p>

"Dutchy’s owner Charles and crew did a fantastic job from start to finish. From demo down to studs to a total renovation of our 40+ year old bathroom. Installation of tile walls and floor, heated floor, pot lighting, blue tooth exhaust fan, toilet, vanity and a 5 panel glass door. We are extremely pleased. We feel like we are at a resort when spending time in our bathroom. Love it.

It has been my experience that it is not unusual to not be called back, to have exorbitant estimates (maybe because I am female, maybe because I am out of town), to not show up, to not be totally upfront and do incomplete work (again, maybe because I am out of town). "Ron was great to work with - he and his crew were in and out of here in 2 days. I had another company come over to look at the job, but when Ron came by he actually got up onto our roof and realized that the problem was bigger than just repointing the chimney (which our home inspector had already warned us about). The other company did not go into that great of detail, Ron took the time to thoroughly explain what was happening and exactly what needed fixed. His knowledge and friendliness won the job, and his pricing was right in line with the other quote. I highly recommend, he knows his stuff! He and his crew left a clean job site, and worked hard to get in and out in a timely manner.

"Chris Jackson has done work for us twice on our 5-unit multi-family apartment building – once in December 2022, and then also in January 2023. Chris’ work is high quality – he’s a seasoned contractor, handyman and "master of the "punch list" who can handle both interior and exterior issues. His expertise includes electrical, gas stove repair, faucet repair, changing locks, repairing doors, putting in thresholds and transitions, repairing windows and screens, insulating pipes, mold remediation, putting in drywall, finishing and painting, cement work, boiler work, downspout repair, and more.
