  Susann is simply amazing. Not only is she the best Real Estate Agent we have ever worked with, we now consider her a friend after the short time we spent together and all the help that she has provided for us. We bought/sold during the end of the crazy housing market through Summer 2022 – Susann helped us navigate all that from start to finish. What I really want to emphasize is the amount of work that she goes above and beyond to do for her clients. Her research/data/info for home comps are meticulous yet easy to understand and she is honest and forthright with everything that is n the table. She is ALWAYS available no matter where or what time, Susann would answer all our questions even while she was at weddings, ball games etc... her eye for detail when it comes to staging homes is impeccable - and finally, her support structure in beyond anything we have ever seen before - she has a stable of people to help with ANYTHING you might need, cleaners, carpet cleaners, plumbers, masonaries and more, if we needed any work done, Susann took care of it (sometimes herself!) and with a smile...it was the best thing we could ask for.   I will start with the positive. Carol understands what a home should look like to sell quickly. She staged our home in good taste, this is the only reason I am giving her 2 stars. Unfortunately, her word; verbal or in writing, does not mean much. I would never do business with her again. She offered us the following: - Rental of all furniture , furnishings , art , accessories - Deliver /install & Dismantle / Pick up . Services performed by insured stager - Living Room - Dining Room - Family Room - Kitchen - Master Bedroom - Two bathrooms Time Frame : 6 months Total Cost : *$3,600.00 - (Discounted from $4,000.00 ) If rental exceeds 6 months , you will be billed $125.00 per month . Terms : 50% Deposit / Balance due at delivery . Summary of our conversation : I’m glad to reimburse you / credit of $600.00 if I receive my furniture in 90 days . I request a 7 day window to move out my furniture . We sold our home quickly and closed on it within 45 days. She was told by my realtor (who recommended her) 5 days prior that we might close within 5 days or 8 days. She told him either is fine and she will have the furniture out before closing. Once we closed I contacted her to ger the $600 credit. She told me I was not getting the credit because I did not give her the 10 day notification required in order to receive the credit. I was perplexed since I do not remember such a conversation. I looked into the contract (I copied and pasted above), and no such thing was ever requested of me. We were supposed to have the furniture returned under 90 days, we only had it for 45 days. That was the only requirement for the credit. The realtor contacted her as well since he also did not understand why she was refusing to stand by her contract. She never made it right and it became quickly apparent that she never meant to give us the credit. She offered it to get our business but then decided to use a random excuse to bow out of the arrangement (typical bait and switch). Fortunately for me I have a wonderful realtor who made it right by us. Beware of Carol and her business. If you decide to do business with her keep in mind she may not abide by her contract (written or verbal). Pay only with Visa or Paypal so you have recourse. Better yet, use someone ethicalshow more

  Our experience with Mary was excellent. She came on time and went straight to business. She was very knowledgable and patient with our multiple questions. She took each room of our condo into consideration and we discussed colors, draperies, art work, etc, for each of the rooms in our condo. She has an extensive network that helped us do repairs, spruce up the house in a timely and affordable manner. Susann is responsive, gets immediate answers and direct.   The FaceTime consultation was perfect. I was able to scan through my condo while doing FaceTime with Lisa. She had great feedback while we were doing FaceTime. Lisa listened and understood my concerns and my goals. Making an appointment with her was very easy, she responded in a timely manner. I purchased additional services from her that included a floor plan and color suggestions and she was very reasonably priced. What was so great is that I worked with her for about an hour and provided what I needed. Any local designer requires 2-4 hour minimums. Lisa’s services were ideal! I highly recommend hershow more

  We listed our house in Wheaton with Susann after interviewing several realtors. Susann?s marketing plan, staging suggestions, pricing rationale and enthusiasm sold us. We had 2 offers the first 5 days which shows she was right on target. She was there for us every step of the way through closing and has kept in contact with us to this day. We had already purchased a home in the Evanston/Skokie area using a different realtor before meeting Susann and what a difference!   The Paxem rep who came to meet with us and go through the house was very professional, friendly and thorough. She took pictures to help research whether or not there would be enough items to hold an Estate Sale. And she gave us an estimate for decluttering. It was a big job and I felt in good hands. The decluttering team was fantastic. Two hard working women went through the house from attics to basement in 6 hours. They were pleasant and fun and kept us moving along. I really can't imagine how we could have done it without them. We bagged all of the stuff to be disposed and I called a trash hauler to pick up. (that was separate from their service.) The Estate Sale team came back awhile later. They set up 50+ years worth of items and advertised with their many contacts. I was not there (I live 2500 miles away) but the neighbors reported an excellent turn out and said that the sale was very well supervised and organized. We were lucky that enough items were sold that my Mom was able to put a few dollars in the bank. Paxem's contacts with specialty buyers made the sale successful, I'm sure. I can't say enough good things about Paxem. It can be very emotional to prepare your family home for sale and the work itself is physically taxing. They were so supportive and helpful and stuck with us during a stressful time for our family. The house sold very quickly, which will be a big help to our mother who is now in assisted care (after a fall that happened in the middle of all of this!) What a relief to have it doneshow more

  CENTER STAGE Diana Gourguechon put the icing on the cake when she staged my condo. In two hours time, she took my vintage condo from ?really good? to ?superb? in preparation for selling. Diana came in, surveyed the space ? and poof ? the magic began! We all know it?s ?the little things that count,? and she proved that with her good taste, sharp eye and creative sensibility. In short order, Diana rearranged rugs and furniture, brightened up bookshelves to make them more visually pleasing by repositioning books and accessories, spotlighted the assets of every room, reworked lighting, and so much more.   Diane is amazing to work with. She is an artist with a great sense of color and concept and she is most generous with her time and assistance. I contacted Diane because I did not feel that my apartment felt like home. It seemed that everything just was there and did not tie together. I knew I was not happy with the existing paint color which I affectionately dubbed "Bozo Bucket Blue"., yet I had no idea what color or direction to go in. Honestly, I think I was driving my friends crazy with asking them for help. Diane in very short order determined the color scheme for my entire apartment. She asked if I would like her to go to the carpet store and pick out carpet for me. I agreed since I also could not identify a nice carpet in my price range...I had visited 4 carpet stores/reps prior to contacting Diane. Diane came back with 4-5 samples in my price range...all which were great choices. It was simple. Diane also assisted with slight furniture placement changes that made a huge difference and has assisted in purchasing accessories. I highly highly highly recommend Diane.
