  Strongly recommend getting an energy audit completed on your home, especially when it's complimentary, thank you, Paul! There were quite a few items that needed attention in our home. The technicians Justin and Fernando were solid. They arrived on time, did a great job, were polite, and were very clean. They took before and after pictures, which shows how much I needed the work done. We went with the insulation to ensure it was at least 18 inches, the duct sealing of the junction boxes and HVAC unit, and we had to reroute the bathroom vent. We even did the optional UV-C light, which makes us feel much safer and takes a load off, especially in this current environment of being conscious of germs and all.   I intentionally waited a year to report this because I am a skeptic about radiant barrier and I wanted 12 months of data to report billing information. 1. Hail storm in April 2011 damaged the roof, but also knocked large holes into the brittle 20+ year old vinyl siding. 2. I've used Jon before for roofing repairs, I was already confident in his company. 3. I still requested 3 estimates, though Jon had the inside track on earning my business. I now have a beautiful looking house, and a fantastic looking roof (upgraded quality of shingles too) thanks to Jon and his construction team. Everyone on the team was very professional and talented. Special kudos to Jon's construction foreman, Pedro. He is an artist! This was a huge job. All of the roof & decking was removed & hauled away, then replaced. All of the vinyl siding, external insulation, and decking was removed and hauled off. All through the demolition phase Jon's crew was respectful in cleaning daily. (Though my attic was a mess & I cleaned that myself after the job was complete). During the construction phase Jon's crew was careful to clean daily and make sure our property was clear of construction & roofing nails. As I said above, the house looks great. The bonus: Since replacing the decking with radiant barrier decking on both the roof and walls I have a seen a 33% reduction in my utility bills. This is the data I wanted to collect before posting my review. I increased the costs of the job by replacing the roof decking, but research (and another professional radiant barrier specialist) suggested that the most effective barrier was that which is applied in the factory directly to the decking. I am extremely pleased with that decision. Every job like this has challenges. We had our share of minor challenges. Jon keeps the lines of communication open and remains responsive to me as a customer to resolve any minor issues.   Excellent from the start all the way through the end. Jesse came out within a day or two and gave us an estimate explaining every charge and the benefits of each. He explained what is the best bang-for-the-buck for each item. The crew came out and was finished within a day and a half and the roof looks outstanding. The owner of the company came out after the work to inspect the job. I'm always surprised when we pay a bunch of money for a job to be done and the owner is nowhere to be found. Not with these guys. Mr. Wright came out and inspected the work which gives me a boost of confidence on the final product. If you need a new roof, there are a bunch of folks out there that can do it but I would highly suggest calling Jon Wright. They're straight-shooters and we never felt that there were padding the invoice unlike some of the other estimates we had. They worked with my insurance folks making the entire process one of the easiest projects I've had done on the houseshow more

  This process has been absolutely a blessing to my family. I could not have asked for a better company/general contractor to take on this project. In saying a bathroom remodel/renovations is truly downplaying the total scope of Kevin's work. We took a one story home 4/2/0 and turned it into a 4/3/2 (two existing rooms went to 1 large master) . He was able to keep the same look and aesthetics of our home to still blend with our neighborhood. Our home even enlarged still feels like a "home". The love and attentiveness that was put into this project is refreshing and completely unimaginable. Kevin is not a contractor that will push you off and place you on a back burner. He will contact you, he will make you feel like no matter the project size yours is important, he will bring life to your vision. His subcontractors are amazing. He knows each company and most of the time personally. You can rest assure that this man is not sending total strangers amongst your home. Now onto a more personal note. Kevin is a blue collar gentleman just like all of the people he works with. Over the course of a 6 month project (remember it was a large one) I have never felt like he has looked down on us or judged us in any way. My kids have just fell in love with him and truly he feels more like family than anything else. This company is somebody that I know I could send to my mothers house and not worry that she would be taken advantage of. In fact before the sheetrock went on to the "new" upstairs I spoke with Kevin and at that point asked him to bless my home. He wrote a scripture above all of my kids doors and the guest bedroom on the header. Whether he knows this or not this is something that my kids and us adored and keep very close to our hearts. To most General Contractors projects are just that they are somebody else's house and project. They are there for just the money. Kevin Gwyn is not this! He puts his heart, his brain power, his sleep at night all on the line to make YOUR vision come true. If you are looking for the cheapest this may not be your choice. If you are looking for the most expensive this may not be your choice. If you are looking for somebody in the middle and want it done correctly then Clear Creek Home Improvements is your choiceshow more

  Darren just installed insulation yesterday and I could immediately feel the difference! I keep my thermostat on 74 during the day, but it's usually 77-78 by afternoon. Today I got home, and it's actually 74 in my house! I was looking into getting new windows, but so glad I went with insulation instead. So much bang for your buck, and this will easily pay for itself within a year with the savings on my electric bill. I hate spending money on things I can't see, but my only regret is not doing this soonershow more
