Step by Step Home Improvement Corp.Geferson is a pleasure to work with. He was recommended to us for a basement bathroom project, and he did an amazing job. He was very patient with our design changes, and when something didn't fit properly he found creative solutions. The finished project is beautiful and two years later looks brand new. Our second project was a complete redo of all the cabinetry in the laundry room, and again it looks perfect. Finally, he did a strange project for us during the pandemic. Our back porch was a disaster underneath, and he cleaned the junk and bad dirt down four inches, put in a trellis and chicken wire, and filled it with clean stones. Voila, instant huge outside playroom for our cats. They absolutely love it. Geferson communicates very well and charges fair prices. He likes to charge only for the labor and actual construction material, and you pick and pay for all the fixtures, paint, tile, etc. That way you get exactly what you want. He is completely insured and bonded, but works by himself with associates coming in when needed. Like all contractors, he does several jobs at once, so he may disappear for a day or two, but we've never felt that things were stretched out too far. We are just starting out on a major rebuild of two more bathrooms, and looking forward to working with Geferson again!- Brian B.

Premier Pavers & Hardscape CoThese guys are top notch in terms of quality, responsiveness, and integrity. We had a large and complex project that required installation of an underground drainage system, pavers, stonework, outdoor low voltage lighting and asphalt. Premier Pavers was always extremely responsive by email, phone and text. Their billing was professional and work was done in a timely way. When a couple of items weren't done to my satisfaction they re-did the work promptly and with no questions asked. Frankly, this is one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor. Premier took care of dealing with the subcontractors and with the city for the permits (the permitting was no easy task and required many calls to the city). They weren't the cheapest bid for the project but they weren't exorbitant either. I'm really glad I didn't go with the cheapest bid on this project.- Paul S.

Dimitri’s Painting & MasonryExcellent. His crew of 3-5 men arrived shortly before 7am and started on the dot. They worked so hard all day (zero time wasted) and at the end of the day cleaned up (you would never know they were there). The men working for him were respectful and fixed anything we asked. (Small drips around the house and screens) Dimitri also did masonry maintenance work for us as well. I found him to be extremely responsive and very good to his workers. (One hot day he stopped by with ice-cream for their break). Pleasure doing business, highly recommend this local company. 🙂- Amy D.

Claudio and his team provided excellent service and work for our foundation repairs. The entire experience with them is simply spectacular. Claudio responded to my call immediately and came over to take a look at our foundation on the same day. He provided constructive advice and suggested a few options. He was very fair with his price. Claudio's team worked for 3 full days, each starting around 7:45am and finishing around 4:30pm. This is a very hard working group of folks and we need to give a huge shout-out to George who did most of the brick laying and re-pointing. They also spent the time each day to clean up the area and wash down any residual concrete on our deck and driveway. We are very happy how everything turned out. We look forward to hiring FAMA again in the future for our retaining wall work and any other small projects that may come up. We are very fortunate to find FAMA and are excited to continue a working relationship with Claudio and his team. We highly recommend anyone looking for a masonry company to seriously consider FAMA Masonry. You will not be disappointed by their quality of work and most importantly, their price.

Luis and Dan did a great job. They performed the work as promised. The price was fair, materials were excellent quality, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. The front of our house looks way better than it did with our old porch and we no longer have to worry about water seeping into concrete as we had before. The job was efficiently done within the time frame provided. We will absolutely hire EA Masonry again. Now that they made our porch look so incredible, the adjoining walkway is looking in need of attention. However, that will be the next job.

Eddie and Simon did a superb job repointing the masonry between the granite blocks in our 170+ year old garage's first story. The granite garage also serves as the foundation to a second story garage above it, so it bears quite a load. This garage faces the water and the Northeast Storms year round give it a good pounding. Additionally, it's on a major thoroughfare going up towards several industrial parks, so 18 wheel trucks, dump trucks and other heavy equipment send vibrations through from 5 AM until 8 PM most days of the week. Eddie & Simon did a great job reinforcing and repointing the granite blocks. They also did some repointing of the brick foundation in the house. I can't say enough good things about them.
