- MA Design & Construction CoOriginally we had hired MA Design to renovate two of our bathrooms, one being a full gut renovation of our Master Bathroom in 2021. We had such a good experience working with MA Design for our Bathroom renovations that we just had them come back to complete two other large scale projects. A full Kitchen refresh as well as a brand new back yard which included new stone patio with propane fire pit, new trex deck with integrated lighting, and a fully screened in porch. This was a large amount of work (in a difficult space as our back yard is only accessible by stairs so all work must be done by hand) and we really weren’t sure on what we could fit in the area. Marc & Raquel walked us through the full design and gave us options to find what worked best for us, and we are thrilled with our results. Would highly recommend for any projects for your home, indoor AND outdoor. We love our transformed house!

- Beantown Home Improvements, Inc.Our experience with Beantown was a fantastic one! At our initial visit with Jim, we were given great options and advice. We started our 3 step project by replacing 2 sliders on the back of our house. This was followed by step 2 which involved stripping off all the old curling cedar shingles. The house was wrapped tight and finished off with a beautiful natural clay colored vinyl siding. This phase was finished in an amazing 5 days!! The 3rd and final stage was a tear down and replacement of our 2 decks. Our sun filled backyard was the culprit in destroying everything made of wood! Our new decking was an Azek English Walnut, which was accented with white premier railings and risers. The crews we had for each phase were very professional. They started each day promptly at 7am and finished the day with a complete cleanup of the work area. We would like to give a special shout out to deck crew Brian and Pat! They worked so hard through many days of New England weather, and were so very kind to our Grandchildren! We were so pleased with our experience with Beantown, we are sure you will be too! Andre was honest and transparent the entire time when discussing what was required to fix the leaking roof. Once the new roof and roof deck were signed off on, the project was finished quickly and Andre was responsive the entire time. He came back multiple times to ensure it was done properly, and still checks in to make sure everything is functioning properly. Would recommend 100/100 times for any type of work

"Franca Services performed siding, trim and window replacement to the front of our barn, then finished the project by painting the new work. It was done professionally and promptly, only delayed by supply chain issues, and original project manager not estimating siding requirements properly (he is no longer with Franca). Once construction started, the work progressed well, the workers were attentive to the needs of the boarders and the horses. The siding shortage did result in a brief, but understandable pause, and a solution was worked out. The project had some tricky details, and the crew handled all of them to our great satisfaction, the job looks great. The front of the barn is good for another 40 years!

"Celio and his crew rebuilt the 3 badly damaged decks on the back side of our triple-decker condos. He is knowledgeable, ethical, reliable, fairly priced, a pleasure to work with, and his work is excellent. For many years, mold had been eating away at many critical pieces of the frame, all hidden behind layers of paint. As each new rotted support was exposed, Celio showed us the damage and clearly explained what needed to be done to fix it and why. He also managed to save much of the structure that was still solid. I would definitely hire Celio and Socel Co again and I have recommended them to friends.

"Everyone we worked with at Brittivia was friendly and helpful. The quote process and down payment process was all done electronically. They handled all permitting and inspection processes as well. The end result was a beautiful, sturdy new deck. During the build, they even discovered some additional wood rot due to substandard flashing under a door by a previous contractor, and they were able to fix that without causing substantial delay or cost. We’re bringing them back to do a door replacement, and likely siding and window replacements in the near future.

"ProBuilt, Bill Ladd deserves a perfect ten! The craftsmanship and customer service of Bill and crew are superb. The project was to basically rebuild my deck,, and I asked to keep as much of the old wood as possible to help with the budget, which Bill did. Because of some covid-related issues, I did upgrade the flooring, but it was well worth it. Bill and his crew were excellent, always respectful, answering any questions, and cleaned up every night. "I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer.
My issues with driveway:
• Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots
• Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled
• They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it
