Earn Your Associate of Science in Fire Science Online

Learn the fundamentals of fire science, fire safety, leadership, and crisis management through the Associate of Science in Fire Science program at American Military University (AMU). Following the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education Model Curriculum (FESHE), this online program enables you to explore the behavior, prevention, and suppression of fire.

This AS in Fire Science aims to enhance your knowledge of how and why fires start, spread, and can be controlled. You’ll be taught by faculty who bring their real-world experience to your studies. Many are frontline leaders in firefighting, fire service management, urban search and rescue, emergency medical services, hazardous materials operations, incident command, emergency and disaster management, and hazard identification and risk reduction.

AMU’s programs are online with 24/7 access and no set login times. At AMU, there are no entrance exams and classes start every month, so you can begin quickly and control your schedule. Ask us about transfer credit opportunities to help you save time and money in completing your degree.
