"Having just bought our home, we wanted to have the heating system assessed before winter hit. Entrepreneur Brian Lewis is a wonderful, exacting professional. As promised, he followed-up after the job was "completed" by another, Company A, to see if it had been satisfactory. It was not. Not by a longshot. So I decided to try Lewis' HVAC service and set a date. Prior to their arrival, Brian Lewis called to inform me of the workers' names. Upon arrival, Kevin & Marco considerately introduced themselves, took off their shoes, were careful not to let our pet slip out the door. Importantly Kevin explained the process. Kevin and Marco did a thorough inspection, really dug into the works (unlike Company A) and answered my questions. Kevin pointed out the age of the heating unit (which I knew) as well writing down for me the names of the parts replaced in the last two years. As an example of Lewis' thoroughness, the guys checked for oily fluid residue indicative of a leaking gasket. They said the heating unit is in good shape. They did not try to sell a service contract at all; oft seen in the industry. They didn't try to sell me anything else. They didn't leave until they were sure I was satisfied. Also, Brian called afterward to check if I was satisfied. Yes! Indeed I am. It seems that Lewis Co handles many types of jobs. As a result of this process, I told Brian I intend to call them back for various upcoming projects such as adding outlets, TV mounting, mounting sconces, plumbing updates. I do recommend Brian Lewis' company! It was a really good experience. Company A, not on Home Advisor, pushed to sell their service contract which would entitle me to a spring check on the HVAC as well. They spent less than 10 minutes but they did put in our new replacement filter. Company A said they "sanded a wire for appearance and to somewhat extend its life." They said I could use a new part for $119 as it was faltering and could fail at anytime. Company A showed me the interior, with a flashlight. For instance, they pointed out a 4" x 4" metal piece, told me not to touch it which I already had said "What? This piece?" They reacted as this is an important "capacitor." P.S. That was not a capacitor."

"Let me start by saying they were the first estimate I got and I should have looked no further but the responable adult wanted more quotes. From the moment I met Dan he was super nice and explained everything to me. Dan even answered all my questions via text no matter what time it was. I am so happy that I picked American Plumbing to replace my main water line. They know what they are talking about as this is all they do. I would suggest to anyone needed this kind of work done is to stick to the pros who know it best. The day my pipe was being replaced the crew showed and were also super nice. It was such a great experience and I cant even express how happy I am with the work done. They left and besides having a new pipe in my basement you could not even tell any work was done, the front yard looked the same as it did before they showed up. "I had two systems to replace. they sent out two crews to work them in parallel. The first thing they did was put down tarps inside the house, even on the stairway. It was a rainy day, but they did not make any mess inside the house. They left the furnace room cleaner then they found it when done. The outdoor units were leveled very nicely. They did a nice job of taking out the old units and putting in the new. They did a great job of taping everything to seal in the air flow. The work crew were all very nice, willing to answer my questions, never made me feel like I was slowing them down. They treated me like a customer that they wanted to keep happy. They have a great guarantees that show they stand behind their work. I believe the price that I got was competitive. Not the lowest,, but close, and they just made me feel more comfortable with the likely hood that they will be around another 20 years t service these systems, and they had the better warrantees and labor deals. One thing they do is to put all the units into pans and attach water sensors which will cut off the units if they overflow for some reason. Since the old units had a couple issues like that, I really liked that extra touch for even the basement one (the attic unit is required to have the pan.) They also have the nice drains which have the cutoff if the drains clog up. They were done in about 6 hours, including cleanup. And wow, are these new carrier units substantially quieter than the old TRANE ones. Since they are close to the master bedroom window, that is important. Wish I had changed them sooner. Wish I could add some pictures."

"I reached out to The Waterline Group (TWG) after getting a quote from one of the large plumbing companies in the area. The problem was a bad Backflow Preventer. The quote was very high and included work that didnâ t need to be done. TWG inspected the problem and got me on the schedule quickly for $900 less than what I was previously quoted. The TWG technicians were very polite and efficient and everything has been working great ever since. TWG exceeded my expectations and they will be my first call the next time I have a plumbing problem."

"Although Angi said they could get someone out to fix my clogged drain by the next day, HSDoc came out an hour after they called me that very day. Very professional in look and manner. They checked the pipes from the kitchen sink to where it led to in the basement, and gave me a detailed explanation of the problems they saw, and the options I could choose from for various "levels" of solution. When I chose the basic service ($99 instead of the Angi "fixed price" of $3-something (I forget)), that was fine by them, and they snaked the drain, and followed up with a drain "colonoscopy" to see what the camera saw all the way down. Their $9.99/month "club" is tempting, and at least I have the info if I need a more aggressive maintenance on that kitchen sink. Mike was very clear and informative, and Victor was attentive to his teaching, as he learns the trade. I'm satisfied, and would hire them again."

"Excellent workmanship. They came in and repaired a disaster created by the original contractor that put the laminate flooring in. They had to take up more than half of the entire floor. Their pricing for the job was very reasonable. They came, looked at what had to be done and provided a quote. The first day they reported on time and completed more than half of the project, however, day two they were two hours late and was not responding to phone calls to confirm their arrival time. Day three they were two hours late, but eventually called and gave an arrival time. Overall, because of the excellent workmanship and cleanup, I would recommend this company to others."

"RightNow was scheduled between 12 - 2 and another appointment fell through so they called me and asked if they could come earlier. I said yes. When Dan showed up, he quickly asked me what the problems were and I told him. He noticed the flange in the toilet was broken and he went to Home Depot to get the repair cover. He did not charge me for the cover. He also repaired the leak I had in the sink in my powder room and only charged an additional $25. The entire job was $225 which included installing a toilet. When I called other plumbers, the few that would quote over the phone were much higher. RightNow quoted me a price and they kept to it. Dan was friendly and courteous and honest. I will use RightNow for all of my plumbing needs. My suggestion is to give them a call when you have plumbing needs."
