If your power is still out due to Typhoon #Mawar, be safe if you are using a generator: - Place them outside, at least 20 feet away from your house. - Keep them dry & properly grounded. - Never plug them into a wall outlet or main electrical panel.

For 25+ years, has partnered with Celebration Belle River Cruises for Ranger-led educational cruises along the Mississippi River for local schools. Ranger Mike McKean taught students what #USACE does for the river and what it's like for crews on the river.

USACE has also deployed a Temporary Emergency Power Planning & Response Team, soldiers from the 249th Engineer Battalion Prime Power, and a Temporary Roofing planning cell. Our number one priority continues to be the life, health, & safety of all affected by Typhoon #Mawar.

The US Army Corps of Engineers is working in partnership with the local and federal partners in response to Typhoon #Mawar. USACE has received mission assignments for Regional Activation, Temporary Emergency Power, Temporary Roofing Planning, and Debris Management support.

As of today, the team is pre-positioned in Honolulu, Hawaii, with plans of traveling to Guam and the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands once the typhoon has cleared the area. 2/3
