All Types of Electrical Service, Repair and Installs
"Rusty and Jamie from Mr. Electric of McKinney came to our home to perform three different jobs: they repaired the chandelier in our foyer, upgraded the lighting fixture in our kitchen and installed a motion activated LED floodlight in our driveway. They were extremely professional, friendly and informative. They helped guide us into making the appropriate decisions regarding the electrical work we needed to have done and couldn't be more pleased with the work they performed. We would highly recommend Mr. Electric of McKinney to friends and family."

"Really good service end to end. Eli was professional with a great attitude towards customer satisfaction, and attention to details. I hired them for EV level2 home charging setup. It was done in good time, and with quality. Passing the city inspection was easy in the end. The pricing for the project was reasonable in comparison to others. Definitely going to hire them again for any electrical work."

"We recently bought an old house with many issues that were identified in the inspection report, including old knob and tube wiring. Aaron spent a lot of time in an initial visit going through and diagnosing each issue and then gave us several reasonable alternatives to spending tens of thousands of dollars. Since then, we've had him back multiple times to fix old fixtures and outlets, install new fixtures and pendants, and he and his team also constructed a new interior wall for us with new switches, outlets, and sconces. All of the work has been very professional. We highly recommend him."

"5 stars for sure!!! Paul and his guys did such an amazing job! Met with Paul in the morning for an estimate and he gave me a quote right away. He sent his guys that same day in the afternoon. Job was done the next day! I added recessed lightings and pendant lights in our house and they did such a wonderful job! I will add pictures of the finish product and add them on YELP if you guys want to see. We are very very happy and will definitely use them again to add more lighting in the bedrooms. I recommend this company. Paul and his crew are very professional and excellent customer service!"

"Rico did an excellent job in installing two ceiling fans and two pendant lights as well as upgrade lighting in the kitchen and hallway. Four of the rooms did not have ceiling lighting previously. He also repaired outlets for us. We were impressed by the quality of work and the reasonable price. He is also a nice guy. We will be calling him again."

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
4. How to Prepare & What to Know Before the Electrician ArrivesPlano Electricians are rated 0.0 out of 5 based on 0 reviews of 0 pros.
