The Rock Island District and its partners are working diligently on the first-of-its-kind Fish Passage Project on the Mississippi River at the Lock and Dam 22 in Saverton, Missouri. Check out the video to learn why this project is important to the Upper Mississippi and the nation.

Starting April 17, Highway T15 across Red Rock Dam will be closed for preventive maintenance to the dam. Closure is expected to last through June 12 and a detour will be in place.

Classes will be offered at the Mississippi River Project Office near Locks and Dam 14 in Pleasant Valley, Iowa, April 1, 8, 15 and 22 and at the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center at Starved Rock Lock and Dam in Ottawa, Illinois, April 15, May 20, June 17, July 15, and August 19.
