After being let down with 2 joiners not turning up I turned to MyBuilder, Frank Joinery rang and turned up at arranged time, we agreed what had to be done and the price. He started straight away and hung my bi-fold door. He was polite and professional and although the instructions were very complicated he did the job perfectly. I would highly recommend him to others and I will use him in the future with no hesitations.

The man and his mate that came to install our woodstove gave us a price, as per usual, it went way over the price quoted and then to add insult to injury, he took more money to fit slate around the fireplace and we never saw him again, that was 8 months ago. He actually gave a whole host of excuses, but still the money never turned up, actually telling me that it was half of what he actually took. Unfortunately for him, I write down everything that goes out, to whom and the date and time, I still have all correspondences too. It will catch up with them.

I recently use My Builder as I needed a handyman to fit a loft ladder and to also do several other small jobs around the house. I am so very pleased with not only the workers very fair pricing but also the standard of his work. Fees have been going steadily up over the last couple of months. Also notice some suspicious leads where the customer doesn't respond but the interested parties still have to pay the fee. As a sole trader, finding this has become too expensive to pay for 6 leads (averaging around £10+vat), just to get one job.
Customer service offer nothing to help so kicking this App into touch.

MyBuilder is easy to use. Pick your trade. Write a description of your job. Invite contractors to quote. Choose the contractor for you. I have used the site for large and small jobs and always received a good service by knowledgeable tradesmen with reasonable quotes. Give it a go if you need a tradesman

I have a number of jobs need doing. I have found the experience of advertising the job, selecting the tradesmen and discussing what was required very easy and straightforward. The best thing so far though has been the quality of the tradesmen who have completed the work. They have been competitive, reliable, and the standard of the work has been excellent.

The process of placing a job is easy enough and I got a good number of responses very quickly.
Unfortunately they ranged from good to awful and included some whose quotes were beyond belief for what was a straightforward job.
In the end though they made the choice easy and I ended up with an excellent landscape contractor who did great job at a good price.

Feedback can only be given when job is done .. A lot of builders that contacted never bothered to show up ones that did were fine and again its a snapshot in time when things go wrong and you contact will they even bother to show up needs three feedback points

Zoltan made a very good job of replacing the bath, which he worked hard to remove with a walk-in shower.
He tiled the 3 walls and some extra surfaces with the remaining tiles. This was after preparing the floor for the non-slip tray which he set in .
He also laid a new panelled vinyl floor which looks like mixed coloured wood. This was after removing the old toilet and fitting a new one slightly further away from the shower.
For health reasons he fitted a seat and 2 wall handles.
I am delighted with the shower in my small bathroom.
It makes a big difference.

Terry Moore changed our bathroom from a bath to a shower and tiled the wall and layed flooring for us. He was very polite and consulted us throughout, was a pleasure to have around and we are very pleased with the finished work. We will certainly employ him again for other jobs.
