First Warning Forecast | Showers Approach... Eventually.

But When They Get Here, They’ll Be Sticking Around.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -A storm system will be rising northward out of the Deep South and will cut across the Appalachian corridor tonight and tomorrow. Our first showers will be spotted in our southern Kentucky counties around the time of the afternoon drive, spreading north and eastward from there, finally reaching central West Virginia after dark. That rain will become steady at times, with a few rumbles of ‘garden-variety’ thunder, bringing 0.5″ to 1″ of rain to the region by Friday morning.
