Our workforce and their achievements deserve to be applauded. This week I honored 65 outstanding employees, including three people who served for over 20 years. Our dedicated workforce – now 260,000 people strong – make our mission possible.

Today is also a great day to acknowledge the incredible efforts of the workforce. We cannot be successful without them. They have done a tremendous job monitoring threats at the checkpoint, and it is imperative that we equip them with tools they need and pay they deserve.
