But does the physical evidence add up to suicide? Hear what Christian's mother, his friends, and law enforcement have to say. You decide who’s telling the truth, who’s lying, what happened to the evidence, and whether the police investigation was done right in this true-crime podcast.
In Season Four of Without Warning Podcast® Crowdsourcing Justice, Wysocki takes the listener through the Jonathan Crews case. Brenda Lazaro called 911 saying Jonathan wanted to show her how much he loved her and shot himself. The evidence tells a different story.

Reputation: the beliefs or opinions that are generally held about someone or something

WARNING: This episode addresses topics of Drugs, Overdose, Sex trafficking, and Sexual assault. Jett Miller was under oath answering questions about his reputation.
Regarding trial proceedings, under Federal Rule of Evidence Rule 405, when evidence on a person's character is admissible, it may be proved through testimony on that person's reputation. Without quoting the lawsuit, Jett Miller alleged his reputation was defamed. One of the attorneys filed a motion stating, "Plaintiff's reputation, behavior, and background are on display in the local community. As an intrinsic essence of their existence, relationships, and behavior - both complimentary and not - are within the spectacles of the community."
Listen for yourself to how the questions were answered under oath.

    Promoting Cold New Season

    EPISODE NOTES:
Sheree Warren left her job in Salt Lake City on a mild October evening in 1985. She told a coworker she was headed to meet her estranged husband, Charles Warren, at a car dealership. But she never made it. Sheree vanished. When her car mysteriously surfaced weeks later, hundreds of miles away in Las Vegas, no one could say how it got there. When a young mother disappears under unexplained circumstances, police always turn suspicious eyes toward her husband. And although there was distrust around Charles Warren, he wasn’t the only suspect when Sheree went missing. She also had a boyfriend, a former cop named Cary Hartmann, who lived a sinister double life.
Season three follows two suspects' men who both raised suspicion for investigators. But with two strong persons of interest with competing facts and evidence, it muddied the murder investigation. This season, host Dave Cawley, digs into the lives of these two men, the details of the case, and examines the intersections between domestic abuse and sexual violence. The COLD team seeks to answer the question: what really happened to Sheree Warren?

    Jett's Version Under Oath

    Jett's Version Under Oath

Telling the truth under oath is important because it is a legal and ethical obligation that carries serious consequences for violating it. When a person is under oath, they swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. This oath in front of a legal authority is a solemn promise to tell the truth in a legal proceeding.
The importance of telling the truth under oath lies in the fact that the legal system relies on the testimony of witnesses to establish facts and make informed decisions. The judicial process can be undermined if witnesses do not tell the truth.
Telling the truth under oath is essential for upholding the integrity of the legal system and ensuring that justice is served fairly and impartially.
In this episode, you will hear Jett Miller under oath in his deposition giving his version of the night before Christian died, otherwise known as “gun night.” Jett Miller will tell the attorneys his version of how the evening came about, where they were, and who was there. He also claims he never met Whitley Goodman before Christian’s death.
For a refresher Season 2 of Without Warning Podcast covers the Christian Andreacchio story.

Keep up the good work

I just finished episode 29. I do not give many five stars because nothing is perfect but you deserve it for what you do. Keep up the good work and thank you for what you do.

Love the show

Love the show, the content, Sheila’s voice, only thing I don’t care for is the episodes are not consistent. If they say they are coming every “Thursday” or any day for that matter I just feel like they should unless an absolute emergency! Love listening though!

Sheila Cares About Victims

And has an amazing voice. I could (and do) listen to that soft southern drawl all night. I’m almost done with the first case about Lauren Agee, and I am grateful there are people out there who are willing to help victim’s families. It’s appalling how victims’ families are treated when their only “crime” is being related to innocent victims. Some of these officers and elected officials are disgusting.
