Sandusky Harbor Dredging Sediment Pipeline Location Change

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District is issuing a notice to boaters in Sandusky, Ohio to take alternative directions of navigation due to the shallow water levels from the extension of the sediment pump-out pipeline used in dredging the Sandusky Harbor, October 19, 2022.

ERDC, Buffalo District release dredged material guidance manual for Great Lakes region

Researchers from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center and USACE Great Lakes Districts — Buffalo, Detroit and Chicago — recently released a technical report which provides guidance for evaluating the environmental suitability of dredged material in the Great Lakes region.
